In Denver, NY between Belleayre and Plattekill Mountains (skiing,swimming, mountain biking, hiking). 3 golf courses within 10 minutes. Centrally located between Margaretville, Roxbury and Fleischmanns with easy access to activities, shops and a variety of restaurants. Area activities: canoeing/kayaking, tubing, fishing, biking, horseback riding, cross county, ziplining, bowling, shopping, farmers market, art/ antiquing, Belleayre Music Festival.please email with any questions. Please note there is a $200 cash cleaning fee in addition to HomeAway fees. SORRY NO PETS.
4 large bedrooms/2 bath (1980 sf) with fabulous views and privacy, situated at end of dead end road. Great room with wood stove. Large deck and over 9 acres to enjoy. Visitors comment on how beautiful the house is, the views, fabulous kitchen, cleanliness, the special touches in the house that makes it so comfortable and how they feel at home.
Great Room and spacious kitchen: Sunny and large great room with vaulted ceilings (27'x15') wood stove and expansive views of fields and Catskill Mountains. Comfortable couch seating for 7, surround the stone hearth wood stove. Very strong Internet cable service, also 37' flat screen HDTV with YouTube TV 68 channels (local, ESPN, etc.), Netflix. Foldout coffee table for game nights. Warm & spacious kitchen with large island, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances .(Dishwasher, microwave, double door refrigerator). Fully stocked kitchen with cook and dish ware, utensils, small appliances. Dining table seats 8 comfortably. Sliding glass doors lead to the deck and picture window all with great views. Beautiful cherry wood floors with oriental area carpets.
Renovated bathrooms. Upstairs with shower tub combination. Downstairs just renovated luxury shower, with direct door to the master.
Radiant heat mud room area with plenty of storage.
Basement includes new high efficiency washer/dryer and newly renovated large play area with foosball table and other games.
Outside - Great Deck and Room to Roam: Large deck with views includes dining table for 6-8. Gas Grill. Lounge seating. Fabulous Fire Pit while you watch the stars!. Partially covered deck for rainy days.
Yard includes additional dining table and lounge seating. Private back yard. Large 7+ acre field for plenty of room to roam.
Meditation bench overlooks the entire Denver valley.
Newly painted bedroom. House has 4 large sized bedrooms. On the main floor the master (15' x 20'), includes a king bed and walk in closet with TV and DVD. player. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a double pull out couch. There is TV with VCR/DVD player.
On the second floor there are two additional bedrooms (approx 12 x 14) both have queen beds and one has an extra single.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A $200 CASH CLEANING FEE DUE ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE WITH ALL RENTALS IN ADDITION TO THE HOME AWAY FEES. Sorry we are no longer accepting pets, however, cats sometimes reside in the house (not when the house is rented) for those that are allergic.

Summary: This was our second year staying at Jennifers house and we enjoyed our stay as much this year as we did last year. The house is kept very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals. It was very warm in the Catskills during our stay but with AC in all the rooms we were very comfortable. Made use of the fire pit each night and enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning while taking in the mountain view. Totally appreciated the quiet. With only one house further up the dead end road, there is no traffic and pretty much all you hear is the concert the many birds put on each day. We love staying here. Hope to come back again next year. Thanks Jennifer for making your home available.

Summary: This was our second time staying at Jen’s property and both times have been wonderful. It’s a beautiful setting up on the mountain but still convenient to town. The house itself is great - it’s very well stocked, cozy yet spacious and a great set up for group travel. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Loved everything about the location and the house! I cooked many meals in the kitchen! This kitchen was the best equipped kitchen in 8 different places we have stayed at in the area. Also wonderful AC in every bedroom and living area. We saw porcupines, ground hogs, and deer near the property. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasted s’mores in it! This house has it all! Thanks Jennifer for being attentive to our Needs!

Summary: This house exceeded our expectations. The area is really beautiful, with the picture perfect Victorian town of Roxbury just a 6 minute drive away, with its cafes and restaurants, and two very good art venues. The Catskills and countryside are at their most unspoiled in this spot - there is hiking, swimming and so much more. Jen the owner is a fantastic hostess, truly professional in how she manages the house and helps one get oriented, and extremely responsive. Needless to say the house was spotless. What is particularly interesting about this house is how good it would be for a group. All the bedrooms are large, and well insulated for sound with carpeting, and separated from each other by a pair of very nicely appointed bathrooms. The kitchen is fabulous and a joy to cook in with a granite countertop. This house is exceptionally well climate controlled. There are good ceiling fans and AC throughout and it should be warm and toasty in winter with Central air heating. Soooooo comfy!!! The deck has a great view. The WIFI is rock solid and there are good flat screen TVs discretely placed in every room. We had no trouble working remotely or viewing the movies of our choice. Highly highly recommend!!! We had a wonderful time in this charming and most comfortable house in an idyllic setting.

Summary: Our group loved our stay at this mountain house. The fire pit was amazing, well stocked with wood, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The house was fully stocked with bathroom amenities and everything a well seasoned cook could ask for in the kitchen. We will definitely be back..a house suited for all seasons!
