Positive: Good location, 2 minutes to beach and close to many amenities. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good but could maybe do with a little variation. We really wanted to have a fridge in the room but couldn’t use ours as it had a strong smell, maybe they need to be replaced.

Positive: I stayed in Green Ocean almost a month and I liked it so much. The room was spacious and clean, air conditioning works very well and quietly, there was a small fridge, a kettle, cups and glasses, soft beds. The bathroom has an electrical boiler, so you can always have hot shower which is good, and it’s also spacious enough to dry your clothes. The breakfast was simple: fried eggs with vegetables, toasts, jam and seasonal fruits like banana, watermelon, guava. That was enough for me, but for people who like diverse breakfast it’d be better to have it in cafes or restaurants. About security: it’s safe to leave your stuff inside the room and you can leave a surfboard and tuk tuk on the territory. Wi - fi: I think everywhere in Sri Lanka it’s a portable modem with a SIM card, they give it to you and usually you share it these people on the same floor. It worked good, but sometimes the traffic was over. I’d recommend to buy your own Dialog Sim and share the Internet from your phone if you work on laptop for example. The staff is super friendly, Ameem is the owner provided good service and Hasan helped me a lot on the day I came to the hotel, we went to Potuvil on his motorcycle to buy some things that I needed and also he showed me all places around Arugam Bay and even elephants, except it he rented me his motorcycle on weekends to travel across Sri Lanka that was an amazing experience and I so grateful them for it.

Summary: I'd recommend to stay here especially if you like good sleep because the place is peaceful and quiet

Positive: Very big room! The air con was great and they had a fridge in the room. Very clean also. The location is pretty much central to all the popular bars and restaurants on the beach! Very good value for money and would definitely stay here again

Negative: Nothing major but I couldn’t connect to the WiFi. When I asked the manager he wasn’t sure how to do it either.

Summary: One of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in while being in Sri Lank!
