Positive: Great property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and with tv’s in the bedrooms. Good internet and hot water. Welcoming host who provided nice extras like milk and biscuits. Great local pub and nice view of hills.
Negative: Door is a bit fiddly to lock and sometimes the taps don’t fully turn off.

Positive: Cosy and quaint would be an escape to the country description. For those wanting to visit Lincoln or go on walks the location is ideal. Views over the vale are stunning. The cottage it 'self is full of the most interesting Knick knacks. It has an amazing range of books to look at. If the neighbours are about they are very friendly.
Negative: This is not a reflection on the property but rather our own abilities. Having mobility problems the stairs proved very difficult for us. If it wasn't for the stairs we'd certainly be thinking of returning.
Summary: We had a great break away and Damon, the host, was thoughtful and helpful.

Positive: It was in a good location for my needs, it was extremely clean
Negative: It’s clearly a house that someone has lived in and is now being rented out, there are a lot of quite unusual nick nacks and decorations which made it feel a little bit spooky There was a very strong smell of chemicals from the bathroom

Positive: We liked everything. The cottage is so quirky but so comfortable. There were ample facilities, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges, 2 bedrooms and a host full of antiques and collectables.
Negative: Nothing really. The stairs could be difficult for those with mobility needs and there were quite a few steps inside and outside the property. Having said that, my husband is registered disabled after several strokes and he managed fine.
Summary: Comfortable, great area, lots to see and do. A fabulous base to explore the area.
