Summary: Nice house right on the river. Beautiful views; loved spending most of our time on the balconies. And a lovely town with easy access to Lewisburg and several natural attractions. There is a sawmill across the river and it was noisy early in the morning and late into the evening. But that was the only downside

Summary: This property was great for our family of five, kids ranging from 7-13. The view on the river was amazing. It was pretty low while we were there so perfect for our kids to enjoy the kayaks and tubes to paddle and float around all day as well as just walk across the river. (Bring water shoes to save your feet!) The lawn is a steep climb but the river access was awesome. The house had plenty of sleeping options and many amenities in the kitchen. Would love to come back with more friends, just not a huge parking area and it would be difficult to maneuver anything larger than an SUV in the driveway. Stores for groceries and necessities are just a few minutes away towards Lewisburg on 219. There were a couple little shops in Roncevert. Would definitely go back to check out more in Lewisburg. The Roncevert Island Park between the house and town would be great for younger children with river access, ball fields, a large playground, and a splash pad! [In Lewisburg: Briergarten and Hill & Holler (AMAZING pizza) were great local restaurants for dinner and fun vibes and local music. Biscuit World was great for breakfast.]

Summary: It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful home and location for our family vacation. It had everything we forgot to bring and the kids played for hours by the river. Highly recommend this home in West Virginia!

Summary: We loved the river access and the kayaks were great fun for the kids. The host was quick to respond to all communication. The only issue we had was no air conditioning downstairs. The kitchen was downstairs and our kids slept down there. It was super hot. We purchased a fan which helped, and by morning it would cool off. Cooking in the kitchen really heated up the downstairs. It was the only down side to the entire stay. There are 2 window air conditioners upstairs in the bedrooms. There were plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware for meals, and the location was great! We loved Lewisburg and enjoyed just being on the water. We had extreme temperatures the week we visited, which is not the norm as well. It really contributed to the heat downstairs. We would still stay here again!

Summary: The house was great! Had everything you could need. I see what another tenant was talking about on another review . The noise from the recycling center. We did not hear it all weekend but come Monday… whew! you knew it was there. No fault of the owners for sure! The driveway is a little tricky but doable. The locals are friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay.
