GREENPORT CONKLING PT CREEKFRONT MINT 3BR COTTAGE W/PRIME VIEWS - This cottage on a half-acre lot fronts on the pristine creek inside Conkling Point with one of the finest estuarine views in the Peconic Bay system. Facing southwest, it is bathed in soft light and summer breezes. The cottage was totally rebuilt for year-round use by one of the area's premiere restoration specialists between 1989 - 96 and update in 2016. On the first floor is a living room with two glass walls facing the creek and a see-thru fireplace to a dining room with sliding glass doors to the waterfront gardens. There is a nice country kitchen, 2-1/2 baths, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8) and a shower bath with laundry. There is a first floor master bedroom with private bath and connecting screened-in porch with fine water views that are also enjoyed from bed. On the second floor are two bedrooms and a half bath. There is a dock and an attached two-car garage. The creek offers access to Southold Bay for shallow draft boats and an exceptionally safe and tranquil opportunity for kids to learn about fishing and boating. And for swimming, the property comes with rights to 200' of private beach on Peconic Bay.

Summary: Great spot to sit and chill. Magical view of a cove and marshland with Shelter Island in the background. Tons of outdoor space to either sit with people or get away from them. Kayaks and paddle boards available and the private beach is a short walk or short paddle away.

Summary: Had an absolutely fantastic time! The house is perfectly located. It is tucked away in a beautiful inlet that is gorgeous and peaceful. In addition, it is a quick drive to the heart of greenport. In addition, the house was filled with bikes, kayaks, and other equipment that was accessible to the renters and allowed us to get out and explore the beautiful surroundings. Would definitely rent here again!

Summary: We had a dreamy time at Winston and Tricia's home. The setting is perfect, right on the water. We spent every day outside, reading on the lawn chairs or paddling out to the little peninsula beach. We grilled every day, dining in style on the long farmhouse style table outside. Needless to say, none of us wanted to go home. This is a family home, with all that that entails. So that means there is a little more clutter in the house than the photos show. It's a lived-in space. We found that charming, and certainly appreciated how loved the house must be by this family. We loved it, too.

Summary: The property was beautiful and in a great location. The home was charming and had plenty of space for friends and family. Unfortunately, there were issues with the stove and a gas leak which prohibited us from cooking two of the 3 nights. A repair service came but it was not remedied.

Summary: We had a great stay. View of the Bay is fabulous and beach is an easy walk or kayak ride to get to. Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and other beach equipment was available. It is a convenient location to get to Greenport or other sites on the North Fork.
