3 Bedroom House in Slingerlands

This home was built in 1887 for the tenant farmers of the 600 acre Font Grove estate owned by the president of the Delaware Hudson Railway. Located In a quiet area backing to woods and near to all that beautiful upstate New York has to offer. This is a spacious 2000 square foot 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit that is fully furnished with all that you need for a comfortable stay. All bedrooms and full bath are on the second floor. Eat in kitchen, formal dining room, living room, half bath and back porch are on the first floor. Large master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and sitting area. Bedroom room 2 is bicycle themed and also has a queen size bed. Bedroom 3 is spacious and offers 2 cozy twin beds. Closet and dressers in each bedroom. Kitchen is equipped with all that you'll need. If you can't find something, just ask! We probably did not think of it yet. Flat screen TV in the living room and one in each bedroom. Internet TV with Netflix and Hulu, bring log-ins for any other apps you may want.
Owners may be here to greet you or a key will be left for you. Detailed access instructions will be emailed to you prior to your stay. You have use the right side of the home, yard, porch and right side driveway. Our goal is to make your stay relaxing and comfortable and make a repeat guest out of you!
Set in a quiet location backing to woods in Slingerlands historic district, this home sits on an acre of land near to all that the Capital-Saratoga region is known for. We are across from the rail trail offering miles of walking and biking. Plenty of area activities include leaf peeping, skiing, hiking, biking, lakes, breweries, wineries, Farmers markets, apple orchards, museums, theater, music venues, parks, historic Saratoga Racetrack and more. Easy access from this location to everything beautiful upstate New York has to offer in every season.
We have a whole house generator so no worries about losing power in severe weather.

Summary: The place looked wonderful and so comfortable. They make us feel at home with cookies to start our day. I’m vegan so I didn’t try but looking at my family smiles was enough for me. They also checked on us and were wonderful hosts. We had such a great time we wanted to do it all over again. Thank you for everything

Summary: My team and I were in town for a conference and stayed at Grey Gables for two nights. The home is immaculate and inviting. Kim and Mike are wonderful hosts who provide excellent communication, clear instructions, and a plate of yummy freshly made cookies to welcome us. The beds are comfortable, the water is hot, the kitchen well appointed. We are so grateful to have found such lovely accomodations and will certainly book again next time we need to be in the Albany area. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Summary: The property is a large duplex. The rooms are big and the furniture is comfortable. Antiques, decor, and color schemes help you relax. Easy to find and in a super cute little Upstate town. You will love the extra deep bathtub and the kitchen is just like home with everything you need to make meals (we had big breakfasts every day) and late night snacks. 2 dining areas made mealtime extra comfortable. We had a wonderful and restful stay. Highly recommended! The cookie gift was deeply appreciated :)

Summary: The home is great-fun decor, quiet, wonderful location! Kim and Mike are STELLAR hosts! Many listings say “let us know if you need anything” but Mike and Kim MEAN IT! Beds were comfy, kitchen well-stocked (and what it didn’t have, Kim and Mike leant us), great front porch, fabulous screened in back porch and wonderful back yard. Highly recommend!

Summary: This property exceeded my expectations. From the minute I walked in the front door I knew it was an excellent choice. The property manager added all kinds of special touches such as leaving us fresh baked cookies and a welcome note, lots of extra towels and washcloths and instructions in every room about how to use the remote / tv. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone/everyone. I would definitely stay there again. Great weekend with family celebrating a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple.

Summary: Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house was perfect, the hosts were so accommodating. My son graduated from UAlbany, a 12 minute drive from the house. We had perfect weekend, house is close to restaurants and the market. I would definitely stay again !
