Summary: What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy both woods and water! We had sun and rain that combined for rainbows! We had a lovely room but of course spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors. The three sweet goat babies and other animals kept us entertained as well as the hired entertainment at the Bageria. The staff we helpful and kind!

Summary: Beautiful small island with short hiking trails through the forest and safe swimming from a few small rock and gravel beaches. Fairly average, but clean and comfortable accommodation in the hotel - 4 blocks located behind the main building. We generally had great service except for the somewhat severe response from the restaurant greeter that wanted to sit us at a table positioned under the trees, with no view and with seeds or similar particles raining down on you constantly. Other than that the experience at restaurant attached to the hotel was great. There is another cafe serving more casual options down by the yacht harbour, but neither are inexpensive.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Grinda Guest House. As visitors from the UK we found it very expensive both to stay and to eat there.The staff are all pleasant and willing but many not very experienced. We would have welcomed information and help on arrival with luggage - this was provided at the end of our stay.

Summary: Good overall experience. Lovely setting on the beautiful island of Grinda. Service is friendly and efficient. The main building of the hotel has a lot of character but is somewhat outdated and needs renovating. The rooms are located in separate buidlings behind the main house and are newer - however the rooms are of rather simple standard and overpriced compared to Stockholm standards. You pay for the setting and nature experience. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace with great sea views, but the food is of average quality and again overpriced, even for Stockholm standards. The other restaurant on the island "Framfickan" offers better value and is located right by the sea!
