Positive: Söderköping is small, so it would be hard to find local accommodation that isn’t near everything else, but here you are, right in the historical quarter with two mediaeval churches less than a hundred metres away; history has turned the house into part fairground funhouse—no straight angles anywhere, so you feel slightly seasick walking across the floor, and you have to carefully hold on to the bannister lest you fall over in the stairs, but the top floor veranda is top notch, the patio is perfect for having lunch in the sun and the bath/washing room has all mod cons. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it seems perfectly adequate. Even though the E22 is just some hundred metres away, this is a calm and quiet area.

Positive: We liked that we had the whole house to ourselves and everything you could ever need was there ready for you. The house is bigger than we expected. The house is very central and walking distance to everything in central Söderköping.

Negative: The 2nd toilet on the 2nd floor is a bit exposed as their is a windowed door just beside the toilet. People inside the house on the balcony can see you sitting on the toilet. We didn't really have an issue, but it would feel better if there was something covering that window.
