Summary: I actually LOVED this hotel! SUCH a better-than-it-should've-been value, and so HIGHLY convenient! Evanston turned out to be a charming little mountain community, and the only place I encountered any substantial snow during my trip. It was a lovely change from my high-speed drive down I80. Pulled into town near midnight. No problem! The on-call night attendant responded promptly to my bell ring and checked me in quickly. I noticed a cooler in the reception area with ice cream treats as well as full-on frozen dinners. I LOVED THAT!! Never encountered such before, but I appreciated the options. Someone(s) at the Grizzly Inn is thinking outside the vending machine box. Thereafter, I found the room very comfortable, with the in-wall heat pump responsive to my heating preferences. But wait...YET ANOTHER FIRST: ROKU TV!!! May seem stupid, but I LOVED that feature. I was able to install my favorite app--PBS--and watch EXACTLY what I wanted before hitting the sack. Never encountered THAT before either, and I do a bit of traveling. In a nutshell, if I were the owner of a small-town hotel off a major interstate I HOPE I would make it as accommodating and comfy as the Grizzly Inn!

Summary: Comfortable bed and hot shower is key. They have both! WiFi and desk staff were excellent too. I’m very happy I found this hotel.

Summary: It’s very good for the price. Clean, friendly, nice area. Verse it to stay here compare to 6 or 8 motel. Breakfast a bit limited, but ok.
