The apartment is situated on the ground floor ( first floor in the US), it is divided as such: a big living room/kitchen area, 2 master bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, the apartment has a washer machine, a dishwasher,stove/oven,and a tv. The house has been completely renovated few years ago with modern technology which ensures the thermal insulation of the house with innovative material which eliminates the need for air conditioning. There is a private backyard with outdoor sofas where you can enjoy a glass of wine poolside. There is an ample portico with a table and chairs. there is also barbecue area with a wood oven. the pool area has plenty of sun beds and chairs to relax and lay in the sun. There is a whirlpool jacuzzi area, the depth of it is 1.50 meters. The Pool is available from May 15 up to Sept,30
Within minutes you can go to the center of the city by car or on foot, rich with important monuments and churches and a cathedral from various historical eras such as the roman era up to the present. Sites to visit such as Torre Guinigi (Guinigi Tower) where on top there are secular old holly oaks with a breathtaking panoramic view of the characteristic roof tops of Lucca. For those who love to walk, the city is fully surrounded by renaissance era walls. it's possible to go visit the lucchese hills within minutes where you will find beautiful villas surrounded by greenery. The house is circa 300m from the highway which brings you to Versilia with its splendid beaches and long sand strips, a good place to visit is Viareggio, Forte Dei Marmi, Pietrasanta. Opposite of the beach you can admire or go visit the Apuan Alps where the famous white marble was extracted and used by Michelangelo. Another pearl to visit is Garfagnana, where you can taste genuine typical food at a fair price.

Summary: Enrico went out of his way to make our stay memorable in his comfortable, well appointed accommodation. It is extremely convenient to the Old Town, the grocery stores & the railway station. The kitchen is very well equipped. He even gave us a bottle of wine & his homemade pesto which we enjoyed with our pasta. Good communication, kind hospitable. Thank you Enrico! We will be back.

Summary: This is a fantastic property and one of the best we have ever stayed in. From inside the house to the gorgeous swimming pool this is five star all the way. Enrico and family made us so welcome. A perfect home from home but with much better weather. We will be back! An easy walk to the walls and a five minute drive to the Co Op! Lucca was brilliant as ever. Many thanks Enrico. We will be back.

Summary: Great stay at Enrico and familys villa. We spent most of our time in the lovely garden and pool, but the location is good for trips to Florence, San Gigminano, Siena and the coastline. The citywall is a good 20 minutes walk from the villa and a walk to nearest supermarkedet takes about 10 minutes. The best wifi and aircondition we have ever had in Italy. The apartment is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Private and secure parking. Enrico is a great and helpful host and we had some lovely chats during our stay. Thanks for a lovely vacation Enrico and family.

Summary: What an amazing find!! Close enough to Lucca City to walk in and enjoy the hustle and bustle but in a location where you can also enjoy the wonderful outdoor pool and facilities (which were for our sole use while we were there) Our host Enrico was the most helpful and friendly man and nothing was too much trouble for him. He made the whole experience 10 times better for us. As new visitors to the area he was so helfpul in making sure we made the most of our stay. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. Great comfy beds and lovely showers and gorgeous outside areas to sit and eat and drink al fresco. The pool area was a real bonus and a real highlight of the property with a lovely jacuzzi feature one end. To walk into Lucca was about a 20 minute easy walk away which we did on several oocasions during our week stay. I have to give a special mention to Trattoria Dal Ildo which was sublime and easily the best meal of the week for us. It is 5 minutes from the apartment in the other direction to Lucca but well worth a visit. We would most definitely recommend a stay here and will be back again one day to explore the area some more. Thank you Enrico for your wonderful and friendly hospitality.

Summary: The house is very nice, a half hour walk from Lucca, a beautiful city. Also Pisa is not far away. Everything is available in the house. The garden is sunny, full of roses and has a lovely pool. There is also enough space when you like to have some shadow.The host Enrico is a very kind man, always willing to give you any information for trips in the area.

Summary: We were made to feel welcome from our first communication with Enrico to arriving for our holiday. It’s a lovely property, with the added bonus of being on the ground floor so being able to go outside and have doors open was a bonus. The area has a lot to offer with Pisa, Florence and Lucca very close.

Summary: We loved staying here, the apartment is small but complete with everything you need. The host is great and willing to do anything he can to make the stay better for his guests. Providing travel advice, helping us get an early morning taxi to the airport or sorting out any little issue we had, he was always on hand to assist. The location is an ideal base, we did day trips to Florence, Pisa and the beach, as well as Lucca itself which is a beautiful town. One thing worth noting is you probably need to rent a car, we didn't and making use of public transport is possible but not the most convenient. The jewel of this property is of course the pool, which is spacious, has a jacuzzi and is perfect for cooling off in. I would highly recommend this property and the host.
