Summary: The location is right on the strip of some of the most famous lechoneras, known for their savory fire-roasted pig! The town comes alive on the weekend and there is no shortage of food and festivities. It is also only about a 15 minute drive to Charco Azul, a natural swimming hole with a waterfall. This is a great place to beat the heat and enjoy a hidden gem like the locals. At first, it seemed we were too far into the mountains away from everything until we realized a short 10 minutes down the mountain and only another 9 minutes from there was a Wal-Mart and many restaurants and shops. Steve was a great host and was there whenever we needed to answer any questions. The apt. was quite large for a 1 BR apt. and has a full length enclosed balcony which is great for watching the entertainment below. The apt. was perfect for our family of 6.

Summary: The property was spacious and has a nice balcony that you can sit and view the excitement below. There are plenty of great places to eat and get your full of lechon! The place kept a decent temperature due to the mountain breeze. This place is also only about a 15 minute drive to a natural swimming hole with waterfall, which was a hit with the kids! Steve was a great host, too!
