Positive: Location, very close to Jenesice railway station, convenient for catching early morning trains

Negative: The check-in is the worst in my many years of travel. I had to check-in at their saloon bar. I don’t mind that. But the bar man who was also the reception check-in ignored me and kept me waiting for over 10 minutes while he cleaned beer glasses and served beer to customers. His attitude was totally unacceptable for a front-line customer role. Only when I walked back out of the front door did he chase me and said he could now do the check-in. His hostile attitude coloured the rest of my short stay at EJGA and I shall not stay there again. Furthermore the €110/night is not value for money. The room was far smaller than expected, there was no in-room tea or coffee, no air conditioning or fan, and the downstairs bar noise (music) filtered in to the shower room. I have just left a Booking.com host in Murzzelschlag Austria who provided a fantastic small apartment + kitchen for €75/night. And the host was friendly and helpful.

Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff! The room, though small, was sufficient and functional for the three of us such that we did not get in each other's way. Lovely meal in the restaurant below too. Walking distance (<10 mins) to supermarket, bakery, cafe.
