Positive: The family hotel in Sabue is surounded by verdoyant mountains in summer, delivers serenity and warmth. Upon arrival, the old, stony house hotel welcomes you with a picturesque garden view, set against the backdrop of small, green mountains that seem to whisper ancient tales. The garden leads to a sparkling swimming pool that invites you to bask in leisure. A stone's throw from the hotel, the gentle Ilto River offers an idyllic spot for swimming or picnicking, a perfect complement to the hotel's peaceful environment. The staff's friendliness stands out, infusing your stay with a sense of homely comfort that’s rare to find. The historic allure of Kvetera nearby adds a touch of timelessness to your stay, while the hotel itself ensures modern comfort with impeccably clean rooms that are a retreat in their own right. My family's experience was one of pure delight, with every season unfolding Sabue's beauty in a new light. Recommended for small getaways in celerity if you are tird of traditional hotels, good for couples, small group retreats and families with older kids. 2 / 2

Positive: Loved everything! The guest house itself, the delicious authentic local food, the gorgeous view of the mountains and the river Ilto below! You can't find a better place; it's convenient and close to Akhmeta. And, of course, Iza and her staff were friendly and hospitable! And sitting in the evening by the fireplace and drinking cold Kakhetian wine from clay bowls while having a snack churchkhela is priceless!
Negative: Would have loved to have more of the Qvevri wine, a variety of Kisi from Babaneuri, which was generously brought by Iza's relatives, but unfortunately we had to leave the next day.
Summary: Best value for money in the area.
