4 Bedroom House in Thompson

We do allow family events with adult supervision. No "after prom" or graduation parties are allowed.
This Guest House is a four-bedroom second floor rental in the little town of Thompson PA just 12 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Resort. Thompson is in the middle of the lake region and offers many local fishing spots. Also, there are many summer camps, golf courses, restaurants and if you are into hiking, biking or snowmobiling we are located just off rail to trails- 150 miles of groomed trails from Carbondale to Binghamton. Blueberry picking is fun if you happen to be in the area during the summer months. The Guest House has a yard to play badminton, horse shoes or pitch a tent for family fun. There is a fire ring for toasting marshmallows and two barbeques (1 gas and 1 charcoal) for fun summer nights.
There are four bedrooms with queen sized beds, a futon, three sofas and two reclines for additional guests. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities: two refrigerators, dishwasher, small appliances and dishes and silverware. All linens and towels are provided, just bring your own food and settle in for an enjoyable visit. The ground floor recreation room has a pool table, foosball table and a full bath with washer and dryer. Also, the Guest house has Wi-Fi to stay in touch or just surf.
A short walk from the house, you will find “Missi’s Place” a small eat in or take out luncheonette that operates from 6 am until 8 pm. With a week advanced notice; you can arrange catering for larger groups. Arrangements must be made with Missi.

Summary: Our host's were great. Made it very easy to check in and out. With 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, the house was big enough for our group. The game room was a big plus. Other than the rain on Saturday, our house and trip was perfect. Thanks again!!!

Summary: This is the second time we stay and we always have a great time!! The entire family enjoyed it. The house is nice, cozy and very clean. The owners Agnes and Alfred are great hosts!! Summary: This was a last minute weekend gateway with the family. We are from the city and I really needed to get as far as I could. It was perfect. My kids are city kids and they did not want to leave. They ask me when are we going back. It was an awesome weekend and the house was just perfect. Loved the quiet and the weather was great. Will definitely go back when able to do so. The owners were very nice as well. Thank you Agnes and Alfred.

Summary: My friends and I were looking for an escape from New York City and this house definitely fit the bill. Alfred and Agnes were an absolute pleasure to work with and the house had more than enough of what we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The house was very clean and kept my group very entertained. Between the pool table, grills outside and the badminton court we were plenty busy. We overall had a great time and definitely recommend staying at this house if you are your friends are looking for a fun retreat. Thank you again Alfred and Agnes

Summary: It was hard getting a decent property this time of year with 4 bedrooms so I was excited when I finally stumbled on this one. House is great, supplies, linens everything you could need and clean! The kids loved the game room and all the balls/activities available. They played kickball, wiffle ball, golf, volleyball for hours. Great selection of movies too. Missis place cafe down the street had a great breakfast. Going for lunch today as we heard great wings and pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire pit at night. In the mornings I ran on the rails to trails path that is up the next street and runs behind the house. Agnes told me it went to the water falls but our kids weren't up for the 3 mile out and back hike so we drove to bucks falls instead. Kids enjoyed playing in the waterfall a d splashing around. We also went tubing down the Delaware at OARSof Hancock 30 miles away super fun for all of us ages 7 to 70. Great framily (friends and family) trip. We will definitely be back.

Summary: We had a great time here. We were 2 families with 5 kids between us and there was plenty of room. We spent most of our days at Elk Mtn skiing. The game room was a nice feature. The property was clean.
