A three bedroom, brick house located in the back of the manor house. Historic Rockland is a 600 acre farm on the Potomac River that has been in the same family since 1817. We are 3.7 miles north of Leesburg on Route 15. There are nine miles of mountain bike trails throughout the farm which can be accessed via permission from Plum Grove Cyclery in Leesburg. Rockland is near several wineries and breweries. Antiquing is close by in the little town of Lucketts just to the north.
The house sleeps 6. Master bedroom has a king bed. The two other bedrooms have twin beds. There is WiFi, streaming TV and central A/C. Two full bathrooms, iron, and hair dryer.

Summary: We stayed here because my son was getting married at the Barn at Willow Brook which is only 2.4 miles from here. We were concerned about the weather and traveling down from NJ this time of year. This place was perfect! So historic. Libby and Nick were so great with their adorable golden doodles. All that you would need is provided, including a vineyard across the street. If you love nature and history I would highly recommend this place.

Summary: We rented thus property for annual wine trip, that we take for our anniversary and my husband's birthday. This year there was a total of 5. This place was perfect! Beautiful view, perfect amount of room since we were going to be out and about all day. And the hostess was AMAZING & so QUICK to answer any of my questions. I actually wish we had even just one more extra day to be able to walk around the area and sit on the porch and have one more cup of coffee in the morning! I hope we come back to Virginia for another wine trip- we will be looking to see if it's available again!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Historic Rockwood Farm, and would come back again in a minute. Thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality by Libby and really enjoyed the beautiful grounds. Great location to explore other areas around N. Virginia. Definitely would recommend. Glad we found it!

Summary: This is a beautiful historical property with acreage that leads up to the Potomac. The guest house was very nice for a home with alot of history. Very comfortable, beautiful grounds, nature all around! And....two very cute pups who greeted us. I would stay again! It was a lovely surprise.

Summary: We loved this property and the grounds it was on. We can't emphasize enough how beautiful the property is! Every morning we would go sit out on the porch and just look out onto the fields and enjoy the green space so beautifully manicured around us. The quarters are nice and comfortable. We hope that we get to come again-- what a relaxing and rejuvenating place to come to after a long day of exploring or visiting! Our hosts were also so friendly and kind-- we are so thankful!

Summary: The home is very charming with an amazing property and surrounding landscape. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of our visit including the views, coffee each morning from the deck, walking the incredible grounds of the property and the surrounding Leesburg area. The hosts were very gracious and made the overall experience so very enjoyable and relaxing for my family. We look forward to returning.
