COMPLETELY REMODLED AND NOW AVAILABLE as of April 1, 2023. THE SEA SHELLING IS AMAZING. Jerry's, Doc Ford's, Mucky Duck, Traders and 15 other restaurants are now open. Sanibel Island has been consistently ranked in the top 10 beaches in North America. Arthur Frommer's a well-known vacation destination expert recently named Sanibel Island one of his top vacation destination in the world. Sanibel Island has sand so fine that it feels like flour between your toes and boasts some of the best shelling in the world. It is very tropical, non-commercial, clean, friendly and has a huge appreciation of wildlife and the arts. A frequent vacation destination for Europeans. My townhouse has a furnished cabana with a refrigerator. You can enjoy the island using over 25 miles of bike paths and I furnish 6 adult bikes with helmets for your pleasure in the garage. The townhouse/beach house has the "blast" package that has a high-speed internet speed of 300 Mbps, Wifi and HDTV. It has Showtime and Turner Classics movie channel. and additional sports channels. There are plenty of Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, a cooler and a cart to bring everything to the beach, plus .8 adult bikes with helmets, boogies boards, sand toys, and fishing poles all in the two car garage.. It has good fishing, boating and many delicious restaurants on the Island. Great relaxing destination from the big city life.
Golden Beach is a great secluded Gulf front townhome (beach house). Located at the end of Southwinds Drive, this 4-unit complex is a getaway from the hustle and bustle, but still within driving distance to excellent restaurants, recreational activities and shopping.

As you enter the townhome, you experience the spacious open kitchen, living and dining room area is furnished with island appeal. In this three story townhome, guests enjoy a magnificent, panoramic, unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. This townhouse has three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the third floor. The bathrooms were recently remodeled with granite countertops and twin sinks. Two of the bedrooms on the third floor face the Gulf of Mexico, so you can enjoy watching the sun rise and set and listen to the surf.. All of the furniture in the lanai, living room, dining room and bar stools are brand new. New master king size bed mattress/box springs with "Elite mattress (April. 2023), brand new second bedroom king size mattress/box springs and two new twin beds with "Elite" mattresses/box springs (April, 2023). There is a brand new sleeper sofa/hide-a-bed with extra thick 8" mattress, love seat (April, 2023) in the living room. Also a new heating/AC system, 65 inch flat screen TV in the living room and 45 inch flat screen TVs in the bedrooms that face the Gulf of Mexico. New washer/dryer, hot water heater .and refrigerator in the cabana. The entire townhome was painted inside and outside and deep cleaned (April, 2023). The windows/sliding doors were replaced with high impact hurricane glass also in April, 2023. All of the appliances in the kitchen and Kuerig and regular coffee makers are in the completely furnished kitchen..
The pool faces the Gulf of Mexico and there is the pool patio, plus an additional patio between the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The down stairs cabana is furnished and includes a refrigerator. A full two car garage is a nice added feature.
We welcome your pet with a non-refundable pet fee of $300. There are no restrictions on weight or number of dogs. There is a fee for more than one dog. The property sleeps 8 people comfortably and I spent over $250,000 recently to update my gulf front townhome. I invite you to stay at my home away from home! Jim Heckert

Summary: Jim's place was everything I wanted and more. Quiet, small community of 4 townhouses, right on the gulf,, pool, and garage. Close to many stores and restaurants. Beautifully decorated.

Summary: We loved our stay at Jim's place. He is an excellent host and was easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations for the area. This condo is clean, the beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need for your time to relax on the beach ---chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, cart, cooler and beach towels. We hope to return next year!

Summary: We had a relaxing and wonderful week at Golden 4! The view is spectacular and the condo is very comfortable. We enjoyed the luxury of having bikes and beach chairs for the week as well. We will definitely be returning to Jim’s place in the future!

Summary: Our family of 6 and our pup enjoyed a week in Jim’s townhome. The location was right on a wonderful shelling beach and right down the road from bike paths. Our children enjoyed the large pool shared by 4 townhomes. We rode bikes almost everywhere we went and we covered the whole island. Location was just a few minute bike ride to Jerry’s grocery store, shops, restaurants and ice cream. The home was clean and had had everything we needed to cook meals at home. Having the garage stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes was so convenient. We hope to stay again!

Summary: This property is in a great location, right on the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. It’s also off the main road so you can usually avoid most of the traffic. We really enjoyed shelling on the beach and sitting by the pool. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The view of the beach/ocean was amazing. Bikes and beach gear provided. We hope to stay here again!

Summary: From the moment we opened the door and saw the beautiful view of the Gulf, our time here was perfect. It seemed the owner had thought of everything: 2- 10x10 tents, tons of beach chairs, beach paraphernalia, beach cart, flashlights, bikes & helmets and the list could go on and on. We had a couple of minor issues but they were taken care of promptly. Can't say enough good things about this place and its owner. Thank you for an absolutely perfect vacation- can't wait to come back!!!

Summary: The property was perfect for our family retreat. We could watch sunrise and sunset from this wonderful property. We took advantage of all the added extras (bikes beach chairs and pool relaxing). Communications, attention to details and cleanliness were excellent. Highly recommend this gem.

Summary: with a party of 7 adults, we ALL absolutely loved the place, location (LITERALLY almost at the shore), and especially the owner & communications. He was reeling from damage from Helene, his care & response to get the place/amenities up & going was phenomenal! Unfortunately our stay was cut short by Hurricane Milton, however, we have already decided to return if possible in November. We HIGHLY recommend staying here. We'll be back for SURE!
