Negative: I had the impression that the hotel is run efficiently and with a view to maximizing profits and a high number of guests passing through quickly. However, given the name Gutshof Baron von Knyphausen, you would expect a little more hospitality and professionalism. The service is mainly provided by students who try hard, but who have no training in the hospitality industry and see the service as a temporary student job and do it accordingly. There are instructions in the guest rooms that are intended to make it clear to guests that they should be as efficient as possible for the hosts and leave as punctually as possible without causing the hosts too much work. Coffee for breakfast is served in a camping thermos flask. Anyone who wants a cappuccino or espresso has to pay for the so-called coffee specialties themselves; it goes without saying that the students prepare these coffee specialties themselves free of charge. In my opinion, you can spend an overnight stay there if you are passing through, but that is all.
