Positive: We loved everything! The room was beautiful, in a great location and staff was so welcoming and helpful. Valentina and Sofian were particularly wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The hotel has A/C which was very much appreciated, as we were there during a heat way. Additionally, our room had fresh flowers, which made a lovely impression. Truly, we loved everything, and would definitely return the next time we’re in Paris!!

Positive: I recently stayed at Hôtel Bourgogne & Montana for a week, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They accommodated all our requests with warmth, even arranging a private van to take us to Versailles and back, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortably cool despite the hot weather, which was a relief.
Negative: However, there were a few missed opportunities that could have made our stay even better: No Mini Fridge – This was a big issue for us since we needed to store insulin pens that must be kept cool. The reception kindly offered to store them in a shared fridge, but that wasn’t ideal for privacy and accessibility. A simple empty mini fridge in the room would solve this problem without needing to stock it with drinks. Missing Basic Amenities – While the bathroom had shampoo and body wash, there was no bar of soap or a glass for toothbrushes. Also, the room had a hairdryer but no iron or ironing board, which was inconvenient. Cooking Smells – Every morning, strong cooking odors seeped into our room through the bathroom vents and hallway door. It was quite overwhelming, especially since we were on the first floor. Not sure if this affected higher floors as well, but it was unpleasant. Despite these issues, the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel stood out. With a few small improvements—like adding mini fridges, basic toiletries, and better ventilation—this could easily be a 5-star experience. I’d still recommend staying here, especially for the wonderful staff and central location, but I hope the management considers these suggestions for future guests. Would I stay again? Yes, but with the hope that these small upgrades are made.

Positive: I love that they have a working elevator and I did not have to lug my suitcase up to the 6th Floor! The decor of the hotel is modern and chic. The linens and towels were of good quality. The hotel placed complimentary macaroons in my room when I checked in :)
Negative: I booked a "privilege room" which was comfortable and spacious. However, for the price I paid for 3 nights' it would have been great if they added a coffee/juice/pastries package with the hotel room. Also, the hotel should refresh bottled water in the room, which they did not do after my first night.
Summary: Perfect location - a short 2 minutes' walking distance to Maison de la Chemie conference venue.

Positive: The staff are wonderful! It’s well kept, clean, comfortable and quiet! Nice A/C (although it was only spring temps) Lots of police presence during the day since it’s by the National Assembly (pro?? that makes some feel safe)
Negative: It’s more a business traveler vibe than tourist. Not many cafe choices nearby (probably why it’s quiet). My privilege chamber was different than advertised (and tbh a little disappointing) with no window view, except for interior. The sauna was not available (renovations) and massage services not readily available also (probably not on staff there) so I wasn’t able to book a convenient time.
