Positive: Regular visitor. Beautiful setting, next to a stream and very near the river, fantastic scenery. Very friendly pleasant hosts/owners. Room very clean. Owners are very amenable & hospitable.

Positive: We ended up arriving very late but Voyageurs made sure the room was ready and simple instructions were given. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location and a tasty breakfast to start the next morning. Wish we could have stayed for longer

Positive: Location is superb. Rooms are basic but adequate and beds comfortable. Room was clean. Evening meal was very enjoyable. Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bar was closed on arrival but they bought us drinks to the room 😊

Negative: Shower cubicle broken and needs replacing.

Positive: Quirky out-of-the-way little hotel for very reasonable price. The room was comfy and bigger than we'd booked, which was fine. We had dinner in the hotel and the food was really great, and good value for money.

Negative: The opening hours on reception did not match the ones on booking.com so when we arrived we had to go for a walk and hang about a bit before we could come and check in - worked out fine in the end though. It's a small family run hotel so there will not necessarily be someone available every hour of the day, which of course is to be expected. Also just a warning that the stairs up to the part we were staying in were very steep and rickety - if you have any mobility issues this will be tricky, but you could always try requesting a first floor room instead when you book
