Summary: It was fine, comfortable and enjoying. The only thing that annoyed me is that they didn't respect the price provided by the hotels.com without any reason. But i stuck into my travel reservation and they accpeted it finally with 15 euros more after i called the manager.

Summary: Our stay was horrible. We had to change the room for 3 times for air conditioning. The restaurant area is not clean and the food not good at all.

Summary: We were looking for a beach town along the northern Morocco coast for our vacation. Hotel Lixus came up on searches so we figured we would try it out. First of all the resort was incredibly difficult to find. We tried calling the hotel for directions but the number they emailed us in the confirmation email was out of service. We arrived while their buffet was closed and the restaurant does not serve a regular menu. Fortunately they were nice enough to bring us some food at the bar. The resort was oddly deserted despite Hotels.com saying they were close to 100% booked. After touring the grounds we realized that the hotel was only half finished. We found hallways and rooms covered in dust and construction materials. This area was not roped off to visitors and could be potentially dangerous. However, our room was in impeccable shape and we enjoyed it very much. One other issue we had was that the internet was broken and the front desk was unable to fix it until the next morning. Also the people at the front desk do not speak fluent English. So when we had them call us a taxi to the train station they were unable to tell the taxi driver where we were going. We ended up in downtown Larache instead of the train station and missed our train.
