Positive: This was such a special experience. All the staff in training were really professional and attentive. The room was absolutely exceptional, new and beautiful. Food was very tasty. Overall fantastic value for money.

Negative: Unfortunately we got a really bad food poisoning here that had a bad impact on the second half of our madagascar trip. It was most likely the seafood starter. The place was also a bit more difficult for us to find.

Positive: In general the property was nice and well cared for. The room was very modern and comfortable. The shower was hot.

Negative: We made a booking a few days prior to arrival but once there found everything closed! We had to wait for over an hour for someone to arrive and show us our room and contrary to what we were told over the phone the restaurant remained closed. Had we been told this straight away, we could have gone to grab some dinner instead of just waiting. All we were then offered was to order some take-away (however, until asking nobody offered plates or cutlery). As it turned out, staff and students had been on an excursion, which per se is great - but they should have blocked the dates and not accepted bookings. While the room as such was clean, the floor was not. Coming out of the shower and getting into bed our feet were... ...black. Lastly, we had to pay more than what Booking.com had given us as a price because for some strange reason the application of the manager gave a higher price. Not happy, especially given the circumstances!

Summary: Despite all the great reviews I cannot say that we enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Completly new hotel, kit of space, nice design. Sleeping there you will support young people in their education, Don Bosco has global network for these kind of schools giving children an opertunity to a get a training in jobs. On the weekend absolutly calm.

Negative: Not so central, but always rikshas in front of the entrance.

Summary: Best where you can sleep in Tulear for a very attraktive price
