Positive: The breakfast was basic. The advertised English speaking was not too good but better than my French. The evening dinner was excellent.
Negative: We could not drink our own beer or wine on the premises. there was not anywhere to sit together inside apart from our roon to chat with our friends as the room was too small for all of us and it was cold outside. There was no milk in the roon for the tea and coffee. as brits we like our mike.

Positive: Location was lovely. Restaurant girls lovely.
Negative: Not 3 star by any stretch of the imagination. 2 Star maximum. Facilities so basic. Deluxe room? Not !!! It was only the wallpaper that was deluxe. No toiletries, no hairdryer, tea and coffee facility very poor indeed. Thin what would appear to be a cheap duvet and a thin blanket. One bedside table and a motel style shelved unit as a wardrobe, no drawers. Travel lodge style. Tiny paper cups in the room , 2 satchets of yellow tea, 2 coffee, 2 sugar, wooden stirrers. No hairdryer, no toiletries. A tiny cheap table with small kettle on a very wobbly cheap stand. Asked for milk, evening girls supplied. Asked for milk in the morning and to borrow 2 proper cups as tea tastes terrible in paper cups told a blunt no by, male morning waiter. He was obnoxious with no people skills at all. Past his 'use by date' in my humble opinion as a Public Liaison Officer I would be sacked if I had his dismissive rude nature. Breakfast, only one croissant supplied on plate in the morning, no others on offer. One loaf of bread sliced see through thin between all guests. A very small sliced Madiera cake, one baguette sliced. Over ripe fruit on offer bananas, apples , terrible . Only cornflakes and coco shells on offer. Small amount of meat and cheese. Yoghurts in fridge. Very poor selection. Waiter watched you like a hawk making you feel guilty for how much you ate by monitoring you constantly..I put my cup.on the right unit near the fridge to put milk in he told me to move it to the left unit top. No difference in the surfaces. Told us bang on 10am to leave the breakfast room. No flexibility anywhere. He appeared so keen to leave. No looking after the guests, not courteous in any way. I went to the small front desk to pay for my evening meal as I was leaving carrying heavy bags. I rang the bell. The waiter was in the breakfast room and I presume called a young boy upstairs in the part we were in to come down to ask me to walk over to the restaurant to pay.
Summary: Not a 3 star, basic in every way. Unwelcoming obnoxious breakfast waiter !!!!

Positive: It is a lovely old building set in quiet countryside. The rooms are clean and bright. There is plenty of parking a a good area for bicycle storage. The proprietor was extremely helpful when we had a health problem. The restaurant is very good and good value.
Negative: There is no bar so no possibility of a cool beer at the end of a long cycle ride.
Summary: Comfortable stay in great Normandie location. Ideal for visiting many local sites of interest.

Positive: Beautiful setting, very comfortable and charming hosts who make you feel most welcome. The bonus is the excellent restaurant. I had a small single room that had everything I wanted and a large modern bathroom.

Positive: We had an excellent stay here... Wish it had been more than one night. Beautiful renovated farm site with friendly cows for our morning walk. Convenient to the D-day beaches and Port en Bessin. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. They were very accommodating regarding my friend's special needs diet. And the food was awesome. Hot, tasty and beautifully presented. I look forward to coming back!
