Positive: It is a nice building with nice individual accommodations. The gal servicing the hotel is pleasant.
Negative: This definitely is not a three star hotel. The services provided were profoundly disappointing. The website says that laundry service is provided, however, apparently that is not always the case. I wrote two days before my arrival to confirm that I would want laundry service only to be told when I arrived that it would not be provided. I intentionally had not done laundry for four days prior to my arrival because I was relying on the service. If they had done me the courtesy of responding to my text, I could’ve had my laundry done at a prior location or hand washed my laundry each day as I often do. They say they are a Casa Rural but they did not provide basic services that usually are provided. For instance, you cannot get a cold beverage, whether it be a beer or a sparkling water, prior to the dinner hour while you are trying to relax at the property. Instead, they only provide a vending machine. Instead of providing a fixed price for their dinner, including an appetizer, main course, beverage, dessert, and wine as is typical, they charge you based on the items which they provide you so you end up paying for things you really don’t need such as a salad, which is immediately put on your table without your request. The price also seemed excessive for the quality of the meal. The breakfast was completely subpar. The coffee machine was broken, bottled orange juice was provided, the yogurt and eggs were warm from having been kept out of the refrigerator all evening . . . And no one was available from the hotel to address any of these problems. All in all, it is an adequate place to stay overnight when you are walking the Camino, but do not expect the high-level of service that is described on the website or which was provided to guests in the past.

Positive: Beautifully renovated farmhouse, quiet rural location,, only a few hundred metres from the Camino del Norte (Parga to Sobrada do Monxes). Very good service, really friendly and helpful. Great food, we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. Rooms are large and well.appointed with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are modern and clean.
Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Very comfortable place to stay very close to the Camino. It’s a lovely old building and the room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The host/owner is outstanding and we appreciated his helpfulness.
