Summary: Lovely bedding comfy bed outstanding grounds The food served in the restaurant was fantastic The hotel is a wonderful place to visit only downside was the bathroom needed an update and carpet in bedroom was stained we would definitely visit again it’s like staying in a hotel with its decor and fancy swag and tails curtains just like it used to be 30 years ago very old school

Summary: This is a perfect hotel. Everything is perfect. Loved the decor, staff, food melts in your mouth. And the housekeepers are amazing, in particular as most of the walks you will take in the area leave you covered in mud. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is impeccable.

Summary: Hotel and gardens are absolutely beautiful. Rooms and public areas very clean and comfortable. Furnishings entirely in keeping with the period house. Breakfast lovely but not outstanding. We were disappointed that we went to sit on the beautiful terrace for a drink just before 5pm, so it wasnt busy, but took 45 minutes to be served with a drink, and that was after going to the bar to ask. Our expectations from this hotel were high, and the service from the bar staff let it down.
