Positive: We were not actually expecting breakfast. It was delivered in a hamper whilst we were out - fresh fruit cereal bars, cereal, pastry and jam. Fresh orange juice, water, milk and yoghurts in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower and everything was spotlessly clean

Negative: It was a very hot day (37degrees). A fan was provided but as there were three of us in the room another fan would have been useful. However, we did come prepared and brought our own as we were in the middle of a heatwave.

Summary: Spotlessly clean, modern, really comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and early check in

Positive: The building behind was like this secret stash of lovely hideaway bungalows! I was surprised to see a Thai menu at a British pub, but those were the best chicken satay and peanut sauce I’ve ever had!

Negative: No local wines. And that’s being picky!

Positive: The room was lovely, large, bright and super clean. There was lots of storage, a lovely bathroom and a comfortable settee. Nice to be able to park right outside the door too.

Negative: Disappointed to find that breakfast was a picnic hamper in our room so that we could prepare our own breakfast. Although the contents were good it was not what we expected. It felt less like staying in a hotel than a holiday cottage. I don't expect to prepare my own breakfast and wash up afterwards, especially when there are no facilities to do so properly. Food had been provided for two days and we were there for three so had to ask for more, which the lady was very happy to do but it shouldn't have been necessary.The information that was supposed to be in the room regarding WiFi password , check out times etc. was not there. As we arrived on a day when the pub was closed we had no-one to ask.

Summary: Think more like a holiday cottage than a hotel.
