Hampton Heights is set over two levels with the ground floor offering the ideal entertainment zone! Watch the kids play in the pool from the comfort of the covered alfresco dining area. Cook for a crowd in the spacious, fully equipped galley kitchen with top of the range appliances, stone benchtops and plenty of storage space.
Relax in the oversized lounge room complete with comfortable furnishings, smart TV and Wi-Fi. There is also a second lounge room with smart TV and a third study/ sitting room.

Summary: We stayed with two large families and loved it. The pool was the main attraction, but it is still close enough to the theme parks and everything else the Gold Coast has to offer.

Summary: Great property for the whole family with the swimming pool entertaining the kids. Well supplied kitchen with coffee machine and everything you could possibly use. The only thing we would have liked is linen supplied so as not to bring interstate. Would highly recommend this property. New supermarket opening close by soon.

Summary: Beautifully designed house, what I call a "deluxe double hamburger with the lot" - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms including the master ensuite, 2 living areas (1 downstairs and 1 upstairs), a separate tv / cinema room, a separate study / office room, swimming pool (looked good, but not heated and too cold to take a dip). The house is situated on the top of a hill in a new area of Bilambil Heights with stunning, panoramic views of the Tweed Valley and views over the hills to Surfers Paradise. PROBLEMS – 1) The gardens have not been maintained. First impressions count. The grass and weeds were ankle to shin high, particularly the back garden, but the front garden was only slightly better. This property is supposed to be pet friendly, but the grass, clover and weeds made it unsuitable for us and our small dog to really enjoy as you wouldn't sit or play on the grassed areas as it was so long and unkept. My wife said if there was a mower and tools in the garage, she would have mowed the lawns and weeded herself. 2) Internal locks - avoided Lockdown 5.0 in Melbourne to be locked in the master bedroom the first night in this house. I noticed as soon as we arrived that some of the handles (black handles on white doors) on the internal doors didn't seem to be sitting quite right, not quite square. I didn't worry about it as it's obviously a very new house. However, when I closed the door to the master bedroom after my wife and I went to bed the first night I didn't imagine the handle/lock wouldn't open the next morning! We were locked in. I wasn’t impressed by the response time having left a voice message on the "emergency mobile number" and an email to the office of the estate agent/ property manager. Nor that the maintenance man came without a ladder even though we were locked in on the 2nd floor of a 2 storey house – he borrowed one from a neighbour we shouted to from the balcony. Eventually we got out and the handle and lock were replaced. 3) Hot water – no hot water the first night as 1 of the 2 gas bottles ran out and the hot water system wasn’t working. The maintenance guy who freed us from our room did fix that. 4) No heating – despite a number of emails to the property manager and phone calls we had no heating while we were there. A maintenance guy (different to above) was sent out eventually to fix it, but it didn’t work even though he claimed it would “come on” once it hit the target temperature. The house is on top of one of the tallest hills.

Summary: An amazing family home away from home, this property is more than just a holiday rental, it seems to be a families holiday home away from home. Unlike most holiday rentals this property has everything you will need and then some more, pool and kids toys available to use, board games, nice modern furniture, comfortable beds, and a kitchen that offers more than basic obligatory items, but everything you need to prepare and cook meals with family and friends. The neighbors are very friendly also being a residential area they were more than happy come and knock on the door to alert us to a planned power outage in the area. This is the true location for a home away from home Getaway. Views from front and back of the property and amazing. I could happily have stayed a month longer.
