Positive: The breakfast was nicely cooked to order.

Negative: Although breakfast was lovely there was no butter, so i couldn't have toast with it. Also the coffee machine was not working. The single room as very small and an even smaller ensuite. It was comfy but very warm and no fans in the room. I opened the window but as its on a main road it was noisy.

Positive: I've stayed here 5 years in a row at the same time each year. The owners have changed and are completing some much needed improvements to the rooms/bar/dining area.. The warm welcome was the same as it always has been and the breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. We were given extra milk in our room and very kindly the owner leant me his charger as I am a plum and forgot my plug. Theres a beautiful lake, 10 mins walk down the road to walk your breakfast off. Hot showers, comfy beds.

Negative: The coffee in the machine at breakfast was so dissapointing.

Summary: Great Little Stay as always. Thankyou !

Positive: The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of fresh towels tea coffee sugar and water and choice of biscuits . There was shampoo and shower cream also. Tv worked and was a nice little touch. The shower was lovely good power. Staff were friendly and helpful

Negative: The double bed it was so hard and uncomfortable my sleep wasn’t great as a result and my back and body didn’t feel great the next day. I woke a few times in the night and was getting aggravated. The breakfast wasn’t that great very basic no mushrooms or tomatoes however good choice of tea coffee cereal. The overall atmosphere could be better some quiet music in the background would be nice just to break the silence and add a bit of ambiance. The toilet was vey noisy when flushed parking wasn’t great small car park with no spaces so had to drive around as many of the roads had yellow line.

Positive: The staff are so friendly but the hotel needs some tlc my first room was next to road which was very noisy so I moved to another which was quiter. New owners I think will make it much better
