Positive: Location was Great! The staff were really friendly. The room was decent.
Negative: The access to the beach was closed. You had to walk down the street to access the beach. The elevator was really slow. The pool area did not have any shade from the sun. The pool chairs were old and ripped up as well the pool itself was dirty. There was sand on the bottom of the pool. Parking was limited. It was hot inside the hallways to your room. Our balcony door did not lock.

Positive: love the location. love the oceanfront balconies. love the amenities (although they were not available). been coming here for years to this hotel.
Negative: many things in disrepair our first room had a moldy smell and the carpet was wet second room had no a/c third room was just fine we were looking forward to access to the beach and the hot tub. wish we would have been told before hand these were not available
Summary: love the hotel but it desperately needs some upgrades and repairs.

Negative: As we had been before we knew there was beach access. However this has been out of us since the hurricane last October and Booking.com did not advise us that the beach access was closed.

Negative: Ramp to beach was closed. Two giant holes in back parking lot. No pool towels when checked in and was told they only had one dryer that was working. Ice machine on our floor plus 2 other floors didn't work. Limited mismatched pool chairs, tables and only 2 umbrellas. Tile around pool needed some TLC. Uncomfortable sitting on balcony due to hot air coming from a/c unit. Breakfast was subpar from other Hampton Inns we've stayed at.
