Positive: We liked that the property was located within walking distance of Old Montreal and other parts of the town we wanted to visit. Montreal has an amazing food scene and is a city I would definitely consider returning to. The architecture and history are also reasons to consider visiting the city. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They took care of complaints promptly and even booked us a cab when needed.
Negative: The homelessness issue that the city is dealing with is right outside the doors of the hotel. This made my children nervous. The cost to stay here was way too high for what you get. The pool is much smaller than we thought it would be. The hot tub was not in working condition. Our room had some damage that had not been repaired, like a cabinet door that was hanging by its hinge, and the front door was chipped up from being opened incorrectly. The air conditioning unit was so loud. The hotel only gave us two bath towels, despite knowing we were a family of 4, and the Kleenex box was empty. These little details should be taken care of when you are paying such a high nightly rate. Also, the buffet breakfast was the worst I’ve had at a hotel in some time.
Summary: We will come back to Montreal, just not to this hotel

Negative: - Room was not properly cleaned. - They do not refill the coffee / tea box, I had the right of 2 coffees in my room for 3 nights stay - Breakfast was awful and very crowded, I was not able to get a table - Facade cleaners come to my window (glass curtain wall) without any prior notice - left my jacket in my room after check out, they didn’t even notice or sent any note

Negative: Very noisy room faced to china-town street. Windows absolutely not isolated against noise. Pool and whirlpool colsed due to "maintenace" without any further notice in advance. We booked this hotel because of the possibility to use pool-area. It was 29 degrees at our stay.
