Positive: The staff was friendly. The decor is dated but the room was very clean (housekeeping does not come every day either, which is something I don't care about but keep that in mind.) Breakfast has good options and runs for a good length of time in the morning.
Negative: The toilet in my room wouldn't flush in the middle of the night but would fix itself by morning. The bed is comfy but the pillows are really thin and I found that to be uncomfortable. The location of the hotel on its own is also a little awkward but its doable. I'd try to get a discount or something idk if I'd pay the asking price for this.

Positive: Facility partially under construction, which we didn't know about, or we would not have paid the asking price to stay. Staff is excellent, professional, accommodating. Usual, basic breakfast fare, heated omelletes, sausage, make-your-own waffles, assorted baked goods, oatmeal.
Negative: No advance notification of active renoivations. Dated decor, with evident 'stains' on furniture and light fixtures.

Negative: This hotel chain is excellent. However, I did notice (especially since some people can't hide their feelings) that the first lady who assisted me was extremely cheerful—until she realized that I am not a native Anglophone, but from Quebec. Perhaps this is due to the aversion that many Americans are developing toward immigrants… I am Canadian, and I am not an illegal immigrant. The second lady at the reception was much more pleasant, as were the staff who attended me afterward. Other than that, it is a great hotel.

Negative: 4th time here and every time there were minor issues with the room. This time the light and air vent in the bathroom didn't work. And one wall had obvious water damage and the paint was chipping off.
