Negative: I paid for two rooms which was not cheap, there was no television in the rooms, now I know its everyone preference if they want to use the facilities you should give the guest the options. I like a background noise, the room was to quite ( which I don't mind when I go sleep ) but if I'm getting ready I like abit of noise. I did not enjoy the continental breakfast, my 1 treat when we book a weekend trip is a full english breakfast I do not enjoy cold meats or yogurts ( not my thing ). Please inform the guest what they will be getting for the price that they paid for when they check in...

Positive: A relaxing retreat in beautiful grounds. Convenient if going to a nearby concert at BP Pulse arena (in the case Nick Cave - extraordinary). There is also the opportunity to eat at 2 great restaurants, Smoke and Grace and Savour. The breakfast was fantastic too.

Positive: Staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfasts were amazing, room was comfortable, bed very comfortable, crisp linens, beautiful bath products.
Negative: Hadn't picked up on the proximity to Birmingham airport and the fact we would be woken by planes every morning at 6am!
