This Mid-Mod ranch home (no stairs) is built with those in a wheelchair in mind. The countertops are lowered, and there are custom (a few hydraulic) cabinets in the kitchen. The private screened-in pool includes a hydraulic access ADA-compliant pool lift/chair. Three bedrooms have secured access to the inground pool. The house has a laundry room, an outdoor tiki hut, a gas grille, a bocce ball court, and an outdoor ping pong table. The home is two blocks from water views, near a boat ramp in the neighborhood, and 5 miles from Anna Maria Island beaches. **IMPORTANT We only rent Saturday - Saturday**

Summary: My husband and I decided to try out the snowbird “thing” this winter and rented this property for 9 weeks. This mid-century ranch was perfect for us. Plenty of room, central to stores and only about 5 miles from Anna Maria. The beds were comfy, kitchen had just about everything we needed and Jeff (the owner) was responsive when a few items were working in the beginning. Our only disappointment was the pool never heated even after replacing the solar panels. I loved running in the Harbor Hills and surrounding neighborhoods.

Summary: Our overall experience with our stay at this home was excellent. The only issue we had was not being able to utilize the pool. Due to low temps the solar heat could not keep the water warm enough. Also, the pool was a little dirty had we been able to get in.
