Positive: We loved the traditional style of the property, it was cosy and in a great location. It is a traditional style room so be aware you won’t be sleeping in western style beds.

Positive: The hotel is right in the city centre. On check in the owner gave us a map and circled all the fun activities. By booking the hotel we received a discount on multiple things around the area, such as restaurants and museums. Defineatly worth it!! Free coffee, water and fruits are available all day in the hanok house. Of course in a traditional Korean house you are sleeping on the floor however this is part of the experience. The hotel rooms are not very spacious so I would reccomend staying here for shorter stays!!

Positive: I love the inner garden particularly, you open the window from the room and a pine tree with birds chirping welcomes you. The guest pretty much understands that it needs peace so I’m having a very relaxing and calming time here. The owner was very helpful and super nice explaining everything about the area, and the best place to eat! I would hope to come back here ♡ You got bread and fruits included with small kitchen, it is very convenient. The house also in the central so you basically can walk anywhere!

Positive: It’s beautiful and it’s quiet! While it’s in the Hanok village, it’s up a little alley way so it’s amazingly quiet. Sitting outside for breakfast was delightful, with the birds twittering in the trees. Blissful!
Negative: Some backs just aren’t equipped for sleeping on the floor. I signed up for the traditional Korean experience, but my back didn’t cope well (as expected). The host gave me an extra bit of padding for my second night, which helped.
Summary: A fabulous and beautiful Hanok right in the village.
