Positive: This was a stay that I wished would never end. Despite the location being really close to a busy street, the hotel was tucked in a quiet alley and it was really peaceful. The decor looks like an ancient palace which was really cute. Everything was wonderful - the location was great, so many good places nearby, beautiful room with smart tech, great shower pressure, a firm bed and a projector for watching shows and all the amenities youโ€™d need. But most of all, the best part of the stay was the extremely warm hospitality we received. The staff took care of us so well and we will really miss this place because of them. They were so thoughtful and even helped with making reservations as they understood that navigating the apps in China can be challenging for first timers. Thank you Jennie, ๅฐ้›จ๏ผŒNancy, Panda and Elena for making our trip here so memorable! We will definitely be back!

Positive: I was surprised at the location and sight of the hotel but the young lady at the reception was beyond helpful and made my stay easy and pleasant. The breakfast was great. There is a rooftop lounge to have a restful afternoon coffee. Peaceful and quiet in the mix of a busy area. The Buddha temple is very near.
Negative: I was snug as a bug in a rug. Apparently there was quite the downpour during the night and I totally missed it.
Summary: I really enjoyed this quaint and quiet hotel juxtaposed in the bustling neighborhood of a Buddhist temple

Positive: The best thing, apart from the really interesting location, room comfort and the food was the front desk ladies - they made our holiday truly a Chinese experience - they were great ambassadors for their country - helped with bookings, transport and had great advice to make the most of the attractions. Every recommendation made by them was gold - from choice of restaurants, bars and sights - and came with good instructions in English on how to get there.

Positive: Unassuming hotel that's down a quiet hutong in a nice area of Shanghai. This boutique hotel is great, however then main thing that differentiates it is the amazing team that work there; they really made it feel like a home away from home. Some of the best service I've experienced and would highly recommend.

Positive: Position is great , and yes its not a corporate Hotel , but the rooms were high tech! Fast internet , and everything is electronic and brand newly renovated with the best linen and pillows I had in a hotel ever , then the pillar of this Hotel is the staff, that went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and part of the family , we were their over a public holiday and they still managed to arrange us toors to all the places we wanted to see!!! I am not mentioning names of the staff as I am scared I leave anyone out!!! They are all Fantastic , if you want a real experience of Beijing then please book the Happy Dragon ! Ps breakfast is a combination of traditional with a western flair , and it was delicious! To the owner - your staff is amazing!!!!
