Once you cross the Wright Memorial bridge and crest the hill you are 1000ft from your cottage. No driving another 2 hours to Corolla or Nags Head. Cottage is oceanside yet within 1/2 miles are Walmart Starbucks 2 grocery stores 3 shopping centers seafood market pizza liquor store URGENT CARE and within 2 miles are 2 golf courses, 20 restaurants. PERFECT IF YOU WANT TO BE BEACHSIDE YET CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.
Towels, toilet paper, paper towels and pillows ARE PROVIDED.
Wedding Venue, Anniversary Celebration (within walking distance to Duck Donuts, the HILTON great breakfast and Kitty Hawk Pier. Family Reunion, Holiday Happiness, Fishing Trip Hideaway.
The gas station/convenience store with beer/cigarettes is within walking distance. Once you cross the Wright Memorial Bridge and crest the hill, you are 1000 ft. from your vacation cottage. SUMMER TIME above ground round 24' POOL!
DON'T RENT bedding, bath or beach towels , crib, highchair or bedding from a rental company . In your TOY ROOM, will be beach toys, bicycles, paddle board, boogie boards, coolers, corn hole game. Ocean views. Easy, close beach access with boardwalk (with porta-potties. LIFEGUARD on duty at our beach during season.)

Summary: The host was great, very attentive, and immediately fixed a small problem we had. The house was immaculate and very classy and comfortable, with some games for families. Our teen boys loved their separate little space with the futon/raised bed, and also that downstairs room was super convenient to getting into the hot tub. Hot tub was easy to use. When we arrived (this was winter), the heat and lights were on so house was cozy and welcoming!

Summary: Beautiful house, clean with all the essentials provided. It was a 2 min walk to beach access which was wonderful. The host provided beach essentials, bikes, etc. which made packing for the trip that much easier. I had a couple of questions since this was my first time booking through VRBO and the host was very quick to respond and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended.

Summary: This house was super clean and had a great location. The house is set up perfectly! Loved having the beach wagons to haul our stuff to and from the beach. The pool and hot tub were great! Over all had a fantastic stay! Loved the place!

Summary: This home is well cared for, not just another investment property. It was VERY CLEAN and totally stocked with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, body boards, beach cruisers, a paddle board, kites, frisby, beach toys and wagons to carry it all. Traveling cross country made it difficult to bring any beach toys. We appreciate this so much. This home is stocked with everything I could think of plus more. The kitchen was well stocked for easy meals at home. The beach is a short 1 minute walk down the road. The beach was clean and a great place to play all day. We used the pool and hot tub and they were both in excellent condition. The patio under the house was a nice space to hang out after a day at the beach.Owner was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend
