Positive: Conveniently located near bus stop, beds were comfortable and the room had A/C.
Negative: The exterior leaves a lot to be desired, A/C was very loud, bathroom couldn’t have been any smaller and the linens looked as if they were purchased at good will.
Summary: If you’re looking for a place to sleep with no frills then this is a value.

Positive: PRIME location. You are in walking distance from the supermarket, coffee shop, several diners and bike rentals. Don’t forget to check out Main Street of which is also is within 5min walking distance. Local town with Vintage ships, clothing stores and restaurants. Oaks Bluff is approx 15min away via car. Uber is the way to go. You can bike ride there as well. Property/rooms are clean
Negative: Rooms are small. Some need cosmetic updates. Lacks 24hr in house concierge service No iron No microwave in room however communal kitchen fully equipped with utilities to prepare meals.
Summary: The lodge served its purpose. Stay was comfortable. Staff very attentive. Under new management

Positive: The room was very roomy. Bed was extremely comfortable. The AC worked well once the room was finally cooled off. Booking.com messed up our reservations. We were supposed to have 1 room for 4 people and got 1 room with 1 king bed. The hotel accommodated us by giving us a second room at no extra cost!
Negative: It was extremely warm when we first got in. It took a while for the AC to cool the room. Bathroom was small but it was very clean. More toiletries would have been nice. Also, I would not go through booking.com next time as the reservation was messed up.

Positive: The PRICE! It was clean and the bed was comfortable enough.
Negative: This is a place that definitely needs upgrades in their rooms and bathrooms, it was definitely straight out of the 1970's! Everything was clean and comfortable, but if you want a boutique setting this is not your place -- it is a s pace to sleep! There is no breakfast included. The staff was nice and helped as best they could.
