Summary: The hotel was nice and in a good location we were able to walk around to what seemed like a shopping hub. The buffet breakfast was decent and did the job. My only complaint was that the AC was not working so was provided a fan and opened the window. Good thing it wasnt hot during my stay.

Summary: Rooms are looking tired. Shower was under powered in the morning. The foyer and lobby are lovely but the rooms are really not worth the price anymore

Summary: The management and staff at The Harbour Hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were quite a large group and were arriving at different times and on different days but every effort was made by the reception staff to facilitate early check in. Special thanks to Maddie

Summary: Opting for a room with more space and a couple of armchairs, hoping for a bit of extra comfort, we had chosen a ‘deluxe’ room. On our arrival, we were told about two events which would be occurring that evening and requested a quiet room. After a bit of research, Sid, on reception, found us room 163. While the room was away from the event rooms and was mostly quiet, there were times when we heard enormous crashes and bangs as various items (glass? Stage sets? from G-live) were loaded into lorries beneath our windows. We have stayed in the Harbour Hotel many times, commenting previously on the fact that we can rely on it being consistently welcoming, clean and comfortable. I must say that we were disappointed with the quality of this ‘deluxe’ room. It is in much need of refurbishment. The carpet is worn thin, the side of the bed is torn, the armchairs are well past their ‘best-before’ date and the shower doors are hanging off their runners. Perhaps, if we had not asked for a quiet room, we might have been in one which was better maintained. As previously mentioned, we have stayed here a number of times before and this was very different from our previous experiences here. As usual, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and when I mentioned the problem with the shower doors, which I believe could be a health & safety issue, your team member said that he would deal with it immediately. Breakfast was, as usual, generous, full of variety and of a good quality.
