Positive: The hotel is centrally located, especially if you are catching the ferry to Zanzibar. The rooms were a good size and well equipped and the staff at reception were helpful.
Negative: No major complaints. The rooms are looking tired and could do with a renovation.

Positive: The property was excellent, though not the best value for money but was a good pick. However, it had a fantastic location, close to the ferry we needed for our trip to Zanzibar after Christmas. The room was incredibly spacious, and we absolutely loved it!
Negative: The staff was not very attentive & while the food was passable, it wasnโ€™t anything special! Unfortunately, breakfast was a major letdown and didnโ€™t meet expectations. Additionally, the chef wore a very dirty white kitchen jacket and kept walking around the dining area๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ It would be good to refresh the breakfast menu as well.

Negative: For this hotel, I found that booking through Booking.com is more expensive than direct booking with the hotel. For example, my colleagues with whom I travelled paid US$85/per night including breakfast. My rate is about US$88, excluding breakfast. Going forward, I am hesitant to book through Booking.com

Positive: The rooms are very clean especially the executive rooms.
Negative: I booked 2 bedroom suite. Expecting the word meant suite. However it was not what I expected. Having no TV in any of the rooms. Single washroom to share without toilet shower. Requested change of room was first told because I booked through booking.com it was not possible. Then I told them rather I should find another hotel and let the payment I made go to waste. Good thing the manager overheard the conversation and assisted to give alternative rooms with additional cost. My advise make sure you get right picture of what you are paying on the app.
