Positive: We stayed here for our little boys 3rd birthday, on arrival the hosts had put banners up which was lovely and made our little boys day. Whilst here we visited the Northumberland zoo, excellent location for a short commute to the zoo, it is also a short work to the onsite restaurant and the neighboring airfield which are both brilliant, as well as walk around the onsite lake which the little one loved seeing the wildlife. We loved the modern decor in the caravan and it was extremely well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and two showers made the bed time routine very easy. Nothing was an issue when contacting the hosts and they are very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Positive: We had a fantastic family stay at Hardys hut. It was the perfect peaceful escape, tucked away in beautiful countryside yet within easy reach of everything we needed. The hut itself was spotless, tidy, and so welcoming. We especially loved visiting the nearby small zoo and taking the many scenic walks right on our doorstep. The local airfield with its onsite cafe was a real highlight for us all to enjoy. Our hosts were brilliant, making sure we had everything we required. We couldn’t have asked for a better break and will definitely be back.

Positive: Sophie provided a beautiful caravan with excellent facilities, including 2 large showers. Everything was high quality and immaculate. The site is a good base for the Northumbrian coast, being very close to the A1. Lovely welcome basket on arrival too! Sophie did contact us to say we could have a late exit if we wished as she didn't have a quick changeover to do but, unfortunately, we were needing to leave early! It was thoughtful of her to offer though!
Negative: Wasn't really anything we didn't like. This is a new caravan to Booking.com, Sophie said, and it will be even nicer when she eventually has a balcony but there was a private grassed area and picnic space so you could still chill outside if you wished to. I wish Sophie well for the future with the caravan!
