We are are nestled along the Walkill Rail Trail with Stunning Views of the Ridge our Home is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your time in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Our fully appointed kitchen, large deck and massive 10 acres give you plenty of space to explore! Quality time and great memories with friends and family is guaranteed! Comfortable and inviting our home has everything you will need to make your time in the country memorable. We have spared no detail to make your stay as perfect as possible. Gorgeous sunsets from our 500sqft deck, large farm table to enjoy family meals all together and acres of grass to explore. Private Country getaway, peaceful and relaxing with only a couple neighbors in the area, you are backed up over 60acres of fields and woods.
*2 miles Via Rail Trail from Main St New Paltz, Trailways Bus Stop is 3 miles, taxi to town $5, 20min to Poughkeepsie train, 3miles to Mohonk Mountain House, 10min to Hiking at Minnewaska, Property Attached to 12 mile Rail Trail which zigs and zags through the Hudson Valley.
*Home has monitored ADT security system with exterior motion cameras
*Local Gun Club in area, the hours of operation are available online, it can be heard when open.
*I am always available via text, email or phone but leave you to enjoy our home with as much or little interaction that you would like.
Guests do not have access to the BARN. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. If interested in using off season please inquire about pool HEATER. (We do not open the pool in the WINTER)

Summary: What a fabulous week we had at Nathan's house in New Paltz! Our party of six ranged in age from 10 to 86. We loved the view with the leaves turning and beyond to the cliffs. The house is pleasantly decorated, with plenty of space for our party to gather together and also to have privacy. We put the grill to good use, and we were surprised to find the pool comfortable in mid October! There were plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes for our group of cooks. The best benefit was the trail immediately adjacent to the property. Our long distance runner was in heaven, and the rest of us enjoyed the very short stroll to the bridge over the river with spectacular fall reflections in the water. Nathan's notebook with local information was excellent, including lots of information about trails & local geology, as well as restaurants. The play room is bountifully stocked with toys for the 8 and under set. There is lots of parking. There is a rooster across the street and a gun club not far away so people w noise concerns might want to bring white noise supplies -- one of our party used the fan to smooth the country sounds. Nathan was super quick in his responses to all our questions, and check in and out were both easy. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay again.

Summary: Lovely, well appointed home upstate NY. Kitchen and living areas were nice and modern. Bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of room for a large family to stay, and more than enough for us plus our baby. Pool area was really lovely - we paid extra to have it heated and it made a difference as the mornings could be a bit misty. Views were spectacular. Nathan was a great host and efficient communicator. The only negative point of our stay was when we arrived the bath wasn’t entirely clean, and had grass debris inside the tub; we messaged Nathan and he was swift to apologize and passed along the note to the cleaning crew. Overall, a pleasant stay in the fresh air upstate. We’d happily return.

Summary: Nathan and his home were beautiful. He was extremely accommodating, and the amenities were wonderful. The outdoor space was so great, and it has been updated since the picture on Vrbo were taken. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Summary: The house was perfect. Great location close to downtown, but set on a massive 10 acre property. The house itself is newly renovated and immaculate. Nathan was very responsive and accommodating. The worst part was when I had to explain to my kids that they would have to go back to our own house which is no where near as nice as Nathan’s.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was accurately portrayed in the photo's and description. Very comfortable and clean and only a few minutes drive from the cute main st. It had everything you would need in a rental home including a stunning view. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had and we would recommend staying here.
