Positive: Overall the stay was wonderful! Great location. Well stocked. Generally clean. Master shower was great. Stayed here before and would love to do so again

Negative: The only cleaning issue was the very dirty windows sills and all the spider webs in the windows. I have said it before, would love to see a screen in the lakeside doorway. We didn’t use the AC at all and a screen there would be great

Positive: The location was faultless: looking at the lake and in a query cul-de-sac. This is a kind of a large apartment in the large townhouse by the lake, and typical of many properties around there. It is nevertheless very private and peaceful, and also very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms good. Great porch and balcony, looking at the lake. The master bedroom (plus ensuite bathroom) is downstairs together with the kitchen, living room and the porch; two more bedrooms upstairs - one with two bunk beds, and one with double bed, one bathrooms between them. There is a separate living room with TV plus balcony on that floor in case you have kids who dont want to mix with grown ups downstairs.

Negative: We abhorred the service by Vacasa! Despite enquiring >4 weeks in advance whether we can check in early (12am instead of 4pm) and receiving message of assurance that we can, and that we will get a link on the day, we were subsequently denied an early check in. We travelled 3h in the rain and storm, with car full of luggage and family, only to show up at the pre-arranged time and be told by Vacasa that we cannot enter for undetermined reasons (they said it might not have been cleaned and ready but were not committed to the actual reason. Luckily, a friendly neighbour contacted the owners who immediately sent through a door code which enabled us to enter the house early. The house turned out to be clean and ready which means that Vacasa were lying and not interested/willing to help us and honour their earlier promise. I do not recommend dealing with that agency. Otherwise the house is a bit old and could do with an upgrade but it is nevertheless comfortable and has all that is needed.

Summary: Great apartment in the house by the lake - peaceful and comfortable (but bad service by Vacasa)
