Positive: Nearby the Thun lake, spacious room, well equipped kitchen, grocery shop is just cross the street.
Negative: The traffic noise from the street is very obviously, the bathroom is very cold though the radiator was turned maximal, these could be due to the poor acoustic and thermal isolations of this old house. The internal isolation is not good either, we can hear the up-floor guests clearly when they walk or talk. No parking at the location, a parking house is 300m away and also needs to pay.
Summary: it was a nice stay, but need to suffer some uncomforted if wish to get some relatively cheap accommodations in Switzerla

Positive: The location was great, easy to walk to the lake. The terrace is lovely and can imagine would be good in the summer.
Negative: Stayed in the top floor 2 bed apartment with terrace. Had to collect keys from a security box, the wrong code was given to me beforehand. Luckily the hairdresser was open next door and she gave me the correct code otherwise I would have been stuck out in the cold at night time with freezing conditions. The heating was left off so it was freezing when I arrived. There was only one bath towel for a one week stay despite me mentioning and requesting this beforehand. Bring your own toiletries. No soap in the kitchen. Have to do recycling and buy your own bin bags and dispose of garbage. The oven door was broken so was difficult to use. Had to wash the pots and utensils as they were unclean before use. Only one bed was made up so I had to sleep on the street side of the apartment. No extra bed sheets. It would be a lovely place if it was updated like the other apartments in the same area. Little more like student accommodation.
Summary: It was ok as I was out most of the day but did have higher expectations from the photos.

Positive: the location is perfect. just behind of the house has a castle. walk along the lake was so nice. supermarket is just cross of the street and bakery was also 1min walk and ATM also was next to the bakery. the house looks better than the photos and cute old house.
Negative: Well, the towels were too old, and one had some orange spots on it. So, we didn't use the towel. It would be ideal if a microwave and kitchen equipment were included, as some unneeded items were in the draw. I believe it would be better to eliminate.
