Summary: Loved every minute! Lots to do, great staff, 2 beautiful pools & a lagoon and many food choices on property! Nice clean rooms with robes!

Summary: Hawks Cay was a very pleasant stay. Our 2 BR villa was the right size for our family, and its central location made day trips to other keys a breeze.

Summary: We were SO excited for our stay at this resort. We splurged on this for our family and 5 and upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa because of the space and the photos shown online. We arrived later at night because of our flights and the drive. The Villa was very far from the main hotel so we had to drive everywhere. Photos of the villas online showed a grassy area that you could walk to the water. We could not - we had a small fenced in patio that backed up to a canal. When we got into the villa around 10pm, it looked to have been cleaned in a hurry and disheveled. The trash can was in the middle of the kitchen, chairs pushed up against the drapes. There were no light bulbs in any of the lamps. There was a broken window screen on the back patio. It seemed clean enough that we were not grossed out but the sheets had stains on them and the floors and banisters seemed dingy. We were all so tired and we planned to use the fold out couch as a bed for my 13 year old. There were ZERO extra sheets, pillows or blankets anywhere in the villa. We called housekeeping many times with no answer. finally around 11pm, we got an answer and they brought 2 mattress covers and 1 sheet. No pillow no blankets. In the meantime, we noticed that the bathrooms had no shampoo, conditioner and contained one bar of used soap. We called again and an hour later, they brought more sheets and 2 used bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We didn't get our kids to sleep until past midnight.SO BAD for much as we paid

Summary: The kitchen in this unit was very poorly furnished. Hardly any useful utensils to us for cooking. There were clothes as well as trash from the previous guest left on the balcony.

Summary: Knowledge is power. Please read the fine print. So many different companies book with/through them as well their direct site. Your amenities are determined through what company you use. You have to call to front desk to even get a skillet or pillow, blanket if needed. We didn't know and went to purchase a skillet. The nearest big box store like Walmart is like 60 miles away!

Summary: All in all a good place to stay for the family. Grades: -Pools: Family and adult pools were available throughout the day, in good condition, and well serviced by the nearby tiki bar. (Grade A) -Service: Service in the overall resort depended on who you encountered. Some front desk members were quite helpful, others were low energy and doing the bare minimum. Same for restaurants. (Grade B) -Amenities: Amenities were plentiful with pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. Multiple pools. A re-vamped workout room and spa area. Soon to be kids water park area. (Grade A+) -Lagoon: Lagoon for paddleboard, canoeing and swimming was not quite as picturesque as advertised. (Grade C)

Summary: Great property with three pools and a SUPB friendly lagoon. GREAT restaurant on-property right next to the pool for dinner ($$$ but well worth it). Two other restaurants/cafes at family friendly prices on property as well. The fitness center is large and very well appointed with a mix of free weights and machines as well as cardio equipment. Far enough off US-1 that there isn’t a lot of noise. Rooms are generously sized and very clean, however you can tell it’s due for a refresh. Common areas have all been refreshed and are wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a very good stay at the Hawks Cay villa we stayed in. The main pool, lagoon, Sunset Village pool, and fitness center were great. Our first night there, we stopped in Angler & Ale after a long day of travel. The service was SLOW and the food was likely bland Sysco basic options; nothing special. Our villa (Sunset Villas), was ok. The showers had mildewy curtains and translucent shower knobs that allowed for us to see through to lots of mildew. Also, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash didn't seem to get refilled before us. Mattresses could use replacing. But overall, it was ok. The unit needs more wall hooks; travelers need places to hang towels, toiletry bags, hangers, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to see that laundry was available in our villa, which we didn't know would be the case. 3 detergent packs were provided, which was nice. If staying in the villas, I'd recommend you stop at a grocery store to purchase your own: coffee grounds, dishwasher pods, kitchen sponge, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap. Maybe additional laundry detergent if you plan to do a lot of laundry. All in all, Hawks Cay is a great resort that allowed us to have the best of both the hotel and rental home experiences.

Summary: The gentleman at the adult pool was Andre was a very nice man as was the guy Kim who drove the cart . The drink prices were too expensive we finally went out and got our own drinks. 8-9 dollars for a beer is outrageous when you can buy your own for a dollar each. The property and views were great staff all very friendly. Also you pay a premium to stay there already then to be charged $25 a night to park is nuts. Also the surprise bill when you check out is a shocker for multiple taxes and resort fees is excessive when you’re already paying a premium. Parking hit and miss most nights we parked in the construction yard and had to walk for $25 a night😡
