6 Bedroom House in White Mills, Hawley

Beautifully restored and decorated large Victorian with six bedrooms and a large hot tub, in the heart of charming Hawley Pennsylvania. This home is ideal for couples looking for a quiet getaway, who enjoy antiques, Victorian era architecture and B&B type accommodations. The home is not suitable for children, however we will consider 1-2 children, on a case by case basis. For our guests that can’t do steps, we have one bedroom, bathroom and shower on the first floor, that can be accessed via the back door, which has no steps. There are 3 living/sitting rooms to spread out and relax in, a large kitchen and separate dining room, 6 bedrooms (2 of the six are adjoining on the third floor converted attic), and 3 bathrooms! The quaint village of Hawley which offers fine and casual dining, shopping, river walk trails, park, playground, library, fitness center and post office, is within walking distance of the home. The town offers numerous activities and festivals throughout the year. Lake Wallenpaupack is a short drive away and boast over 60 miles of shore line. Activities such as boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking and swimming, attract visitors from all over the tri-state area.

Summary: We had 7 people staying and another 7 visited with us for dinner and there's plentiful room for everyone to find their own space. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the tools you need. That is something that I have not expected. The hot tub is a little dated but functional. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

Summary: We enjoyed this Victorian home in Hawley which was closely located to all the restaurants and bars in Hawley. The home is unquie and large enough for all of us. 9 adults. The owners were great to deal with and quick to respond.

Summary: The two of us with our 3 adult children were in town for a funeral and this house was exactly what we needed. We appreciated the walking distance to Teeters and the church, the full functional kitchen, and the large living room for family tv and game nights. The hot tub was a plus. I agree with the owner that the house is not suitable for young children with the steps and antiques throughout. Would absolutely stay again when traveling to Hawley.

Summary: We had a girls' getaway weekend to celebrate our oldest sister's milestone birthday. We were coming from MA, MD and PA so the location was perfect, exactly halfway between MA & MD. House was exactly as described and we made good use of the kitchen, grill and hot tub. Lovely little town with shops within walking distance. Owners were very responsive to all questions & concerns.

Summary: Located in a small town, not too far from the marina where we rented a boat. Backyard setup was nice with hot tub. Kitchen was functional and had all the appliances and tools we needed. Decor was not our taste but also exactly as pictured so no surprises. We had a nice stay.
