Summary: I was there for a fishing tournament that was cancelled due to weather. I still had a nice relaxing time at the cabin.

Summary: I rented all 3 of this host’s properties for my family’s annual Holiday Vacation. We have a very large family so it’s sometimes difficult to find a place big enough for all of us. The Hawthorne Fish & Fun properties were perfect for us! All 3 properties are in close proximity so it’s perfect for large family functions. This was our second year here. We’ll definitely be back.

Summary: My husband and I had a great trip and stayed on a beautiful little cabin on Lake Toledo Bend. We had a pretty view of an inlet off the main lake. The temperature and weather were comfortable and the cottage was warm and cozy. We did not spend much time in the cottage since we were visiting with friends nearby.

Summary: Overall we really enjoyed our stay - it was a little difficult to determine which was our reservation on the property as they were not numbered. Upon entrance to the rental we turned on the mini-split air conditioning unit. My significant other is an HVAC technician, so in his usual fashion he immediately checked the filters on the unit. It appeared they had not been cleaned/checked in quite sometime. They were rather dirty and had a collection of dead bugs. This was really the only delta we could find. Very comfortable bed, otherwise clean and clutter free. Very much enjoyed the property and reservation. We will most likely re-rent upon our return to the area this fall!

Summary: The little red house is on a shared lot with a bigger house that has access to a floating dock, canoe, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating (including a bench swing). Indoor amenities are all that is needed for a short getaway. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
