Southern Belle Vacation Rentals in Savannah, GA, and Tybee Island, GA provides first-class amenities including access to our exclusive resort-style heated pool located at 19 Silver Avenue, Tybee Island GA. All of our homes are professionally cleaned after each stay, and disinfected using a quaternary disinfectant throughout the entire property prior to each new arrival.
Modern, eclectic, lavish, luxurious - those are just a few words that could be used to describe this unique and newly renovated, Southern home located just two blocks from Forsyth Park. The beautiful Savannah vacation rental features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and sleeps 4 guests, making it perfect for a quiet getaway in historic Savannah. It even has it`s own porch and courtyard making it perfect catching an evening sunset while sipping sweet Southern tea. This lovely home was just renovated & opened September 2012. Guests will enjoy brand-new appliances as well as beautiful, modern decor throughout the property.
The home features modern couches with a glass coffee table sitting on a cozy rug in the living room area along with a flatscreen TV, kitchen area with stainless steel appliances & granite countertops, a bar stool seating area, and a washer dryer just off the kitchen on the first floor. On the second floor, in the first bedroom on the left there`s a queen sized bed. The second bedroom features a king sized bed as well as a flatscreen TV, and there`s a shared full bath in the hallway, as well as a desk nook area. In summary, the carriage house has a total of 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and sleeps a total of 4 people just steps away from all that downtown historic Savannah has to offer including many great restaurants such as Local Ten Eleven, Leoci's, and The Mansion on Forsyth, as well as easy access to trolley tours and shops. Join in on all of the jazz fest activities or one of the many other free concerts that the city of Savannah puts on in Forsyth Park. A nice walk will get you to River Street and a twenty minute drive will get you to Tybee Island to the beach for some fun in the sun. If you`re looking for a fresh cup of coffee or shopping for groceries, The Sentient Bean, Brighter Day, and Kroger are all a 60 second drive away.

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

⁃Day Before Christmas, Christmas Day and The Day After Christmas

Summary: Perfect location in the historical district. Lots of history, food, and entertainment nearby. Downstairs was a little musty and there were ants in the bathroom.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. First the good- The location was excellent and convenient to several coffee shops and restaurants. Parking was easy. Beds were comfy and the house was clean. The management checked in to see if we needed anything and were responsive. The bad- Be forewarned- the steps inside are steep and the lock box on the gate is finicky. Also, the rear neighbors across the alley decided to have an outdoor house party from 10-2 on Saturday. Once I contacted the property management team, they did call the police. Twice. However, the party and the music started right back up once the police left. Other than that, it was a quiet stay. Just be prepared as Savannah is a college town.

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our family. Just a couple suggestions as others have already mentioned. Need more hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels, and mattresses/beds are VERY noisy! Quick response from property manager over a leak that happened one night when it rained.

Summary: Stayed here for 6 nights in late September. Everything seemed okay upon arrival, but we soon discovered some things that were troubling. The stairs were very steep and some were quite loose and seemed ready to cave in. The window in the bathroom was rotted through to the outside, so there were bugs getting inside. The rear gate wouldn't close properly, and the washing machine was broken.

Summary: I was in town to finalize wedding plans for our daughter’s upcoming wedding. This was the perfect location; I needed a parking place, and an easy base for going to appointments (this was not a tourist trip) However I can say it is an ideal location for easy access to everything Savannah has to offer, while also being more quiet/away from crowds. Every morning I was just a block away from fabulous morning coffee and baked goods at Sentient Bean. The carriage house has a great full kitchen and sitting area downstairs, upstairs are two bedrooms; comfy mattress, nice bed linens and plenty of good fluffy towels. Everything was very clean! However there were a few things that were a persistent annoyance and could easily be rectified; the key lock box at the entry gate was older and temperamental - there are NO hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom, not even for the hand towel(not a huge deal as I was alone, but would be a real drag with 2+ people) also no toilet paper holder (again, who cares, but you feel like your at a gas station every time you have to reach around to find the roll on the tank) These are very simple fixes! Having said that; I am back home in NJ tonight and wishing I was still back in my Savannah carriage house! ;-)
