Please note the pool heat is a $60/day charge and requires a weeks notice to schedule
*There is a refundable $500 damage security deposit that is charged to card on file 5 days before checkout and return the second day after checkout.

Summary: Unfortunately, we booked this house because of the pool and hot tub. We did not see in the fine print of the 60.00 per day to heat the pool. The hot tub has a grounding issue, so we were unable to use that either. The location was great to the KICC and the communication with the manager was great.

Summary: House was nothing fancy but worked nice for us with 2 kids. Easy/quick to get to Louisville, hot tub was great, kitchen was stocked with needed supplies, space to park a vehicle, my kids loved the bunk room with TV and closet bed. Someone mentioned heat being an issue in a previous review - there was no issue. House heated up quickly and maintaned temp set on thermostat. Stairs do make noise while walking up, but thats expected in an older home.

Summary: The house was very comfy for a weekend stay. We had plenty of space to accommodate all our needs. As others mentioned the old house does equal squeaky floors. Someone mentioned recently the house was cold. It was cold in January for us as well when we arrived. We easily adjusted the thermostat and the house stayed cozy the entire time. Beds were comfy, towels were plentiful, and everything worked. 4 women... always felt safe, and the access to Louisville was excellent. I love a trouble free stay, and that's exactly what we got. We wanted for nothing.

Summary: The host was very attentive and the house served its purpose. Our issues were the lack of heat. The house was extremely cold and uncomfortable at times. The upstairs bathroom had a ton of ladybugs and by the second day ants had taken over. There was no TV in one of the bedrooms which wouldn’t have been a huge issue if we didn’t have two teenage boys with us. It’s an old house with a lot of charm but it was not ideal for us.

Summary: We paid the pool fee the day after booking and pool was not heated when we arrived. Also pooI is very stained from leaves. I had to toubleshoot the issue with host and pool did not get up to temp before we checked out so it was not used. Hot tub was very dirty, my friend owns one so she cleaned, treated and changed the filter so it could be used. I know its off season but the listing specifically mentions its availability and partially why we oicked the house. House was marginally clean after the crew had been there, would suggest a new crew or checking their work. We did have a plumbing issue which the host remedied as quickly as possible. We had to shut the main line off or the basement would have flooded. Neighbors were interesting and loud but we just closed the windows. The house was sutied for what we needed out of the stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property! The hot tub and small pool were perfect for keeping the kids entertained and gave us adults a chance to relax and unwind. The hosts provided thoughtful amenities like a coffee machine and hot cocoa station, which made the stay feel extra cozy and welcoming.The layout worked well for our group, though it’s worth noting that all bedrooms are located upstairs and accessed by a narrow, turning staircase…something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility.The home is in a peaceful location just a short drive from Louisville, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the property and the nearby city attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

Summary: We drove 3 hours to stay the weekend. This place is great for a quiet, relaxing vibe, but close enough to all the fun as well! The house had everything we needed for the entire weekend. The host, Tyler, was in touch, making sure everything was up to par!
