Positive: We liked the location. Free bottle of wine (for over $700 per night, why not)

Negative: Very expensive and too many ridiculous house rules and extra payment for everything (even on changing the spa water $200, what?) Not allowed to use shoes inside the house. Take the bin out. Don't use the flowery pillow on the bed - don't put it on then. The picture looked like the space at the back was huge, no it's not huge. Not allowed to use shoes inside the house. Take the bin out. The owner is difficult to deal with and condescending to talk to. Cathy didn't process my refund until 9 days after our checkout and multiple follow ups (the Booking.com page says within 7 days). We'll stay at the caravan park next time, they have friendly staff, fresh towels everyday, they'll let us in with shoes on, and will let us use all the display pillows.

Positive: The main reason we booked the cottage was for its spectacular, unobstructed view of the countryside and mountains. We also found it to be spacious, with a modern interior and very well-equipped. The master bedroom was especially nice and cozy, with a great, comfortable bed.

Negative: The outdoor wooden deck is in need of maintenance. The kangaroo poo scattered around the house is quite annoying, and it seems no one has bothered to clean it up. The cobwebs on the window frames left us puzzled. While it might be understandable for a rural house, it certainly does not contribute to a sense of luxury.

Negative: The house is beautiful however travelling with a toddler made us a bit uneasy as there were a lots of rules to adhere to which we understand need to be there however can be hard to make the little one understand.
