Positive: Staff was nice and helpful Coffee machine in the lobby is nice Location somewhat convenient
Negative: Interiors are tired. Cracked upholstery on chairs, wallpaper patches on the wall. The bigger issue is they cut big on cleaning. Nobody came to us when we put a sign even though we saw a made working the floor. Also saw a guy asking for cleaning in the lobby saying he is requesting it for a second day.
Summary: Ok, but overpriced. Current rating is not relevant.

Positive: The rustic look of the hotel was very nice. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the parking lot. Has a restaurant on the floor. Staff were nice, I needed an extra towel and she promptly brought one. Just a 20 minute drive across the river to Portland.
Negative: Location is slightly hidden but way better than staying in Portland. I think the staff needs to be better with room inspections. Our bathroom towel rack fell off while stepping out of the shower. And the beauty mirror that is attached on the wall just came right off. As if they didn’t even try to use special screws for drywall. I did report it right away and they did fix her towel rack immediately. Otherwise our stay was comfortable.
Summary: Worth the price to stay in Vancouver and not in Portland.

Positive: I liked that there were bird sounds in the halls, felt like we were walking thru nature to our room. Set the relaxing tone. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of bedding and pillows. Complimentary coffee at anytime during our stay from the front desk.
Negative: Was not able to utilize the hot tub or pool as we were out late, closing at 10pm.
