Positive: This house is very family friendly, which we loved. The boat themed bunk beds and clean bath tub were perfect for our kiddos. They also have crab baskets on site which we were able to use one day! Loved the open floor plan of the downstairs as we were able to fit all of our visiting family members who live in the area.

Negative: WiFi - the wifi password they originally gave us did not work and when I reach out to Vacasa (property manager) they did not know the correct password. It took almost 24 hours to get the correct WiFi password. This wouldn’t be an issue if there was cell reception, but there is zero reception and we had 4 adults very unsuccessfully attempting to work, which was very frustrating. I asked them 3 times to call me to discuss and received one voice mail with no contact information to call them back. The person responding to my support questions was very nice but obviously not from around here as they kept referencing the “local team,” and they were limited in how much support they could provide (at no fault of their own!!) Cleanliness - They have one person who comes and cleans this 3 story house and additional cottage. I think our expectations were lowered once we realized they were on their own (they arrived as we were getting ready to pull out). I think they do the best they can with the resources they are given as a one-person team. Keep expectations low and you won’t be disappointed. There’s a wasps nest down in the brush under the house and sand in the hot tub (you’re by the beach so to be expected) but it also didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while and the water level was very low. Fisherman’s Cottage - Comfortable bed and couch. Kitchenette looked fairly stocked but we mainly used the kitchen in the main House. Shower is small and could use some new tiles but I’m picky about bathrooms (lol). BUT greeeat water pressure!! A ton of ants, bought some traps as they were hiding under the wifi extender thing that sits above the bed. Also no hand soap (I feel like this is kinda basic?) so we bought some and left it there. The cottage is NOT fully enclosed by a fence. There are large sections which are totally open to the street - this was hard to determine from pictures when deciding if we were going to bring our dog.

Summary: A big space for family to gather - just OK lodging.
